@@Ds755rxz Hello, they don’t have to be painted or mint to be able to enjoy and drive them. These cars are very doable with just basic tools and a little drive they can be put back on the road. I hope you enjoy these videos. Thank you very much👍🏼AL

It's pure enjoyment watching you bring these 69 Camaros back to life. I wish I knew half of what I know now about these cars. My first 69 was an X44 with a 307 in it. I bought it for $1100 in 75 and didn't realize it had burnt valves in the engine. Got a retired mechanic to do a valve job and he just happened to have a intake manifold for a sb with a Quadrajet on it. Put dual exhaust on and I thought it was hot shit. LOL. Thanks again for the great videos and awesome attitude!
@@chs82ndab I have to say a 307 is not a bad motor at all. My friend years ago did a cam and gear changed in his 69 camaro with a 4 speed and that thing ran awesome!! @@RobL68CamaroSS It’s a shame when they’re left rotting away and just never finished. My neighbor has a 66 GTO fully loaded sitting on the side of his driveway for over 30 years rotting away. I asked him if he was interested in selling it, he told me no he was going to restore it, yup it’s still sitting there rotting away. Some people don’t realize they don’t have to be painted or perfect to drive and enjoy. Thank you very much👍🏼AL

Love it, quick advice, try not to show your whole vin number on your videos. I’m not sure how they do it but other TH-camrs that I’ve watched said they’ve had their Vin number stolen after showing it on a video and talking about what the numbers meant. keep up the great content. Can’t wait to see how far you get on this one.

If it was me, I wouldn't worry about switching over to power disc brakes. My buddy just bought a 1967 Camaro small block and left the 4 wheel non-power drum brakes. The car stops super easily. That will save you a full day, if not more. But that's just me.

If it locks up all 4, thats as good as they get discs or drums. Unless you build heat coming down mount Washington or something. I always told my son make em safe but put your money where it shows if you intend to sell it.

AL you are right about the rear frame rails being cracked at the bend , my car rails are cracked , i need to get them wielded

those mono leaf springs might be the cause of those cars cracking the rear frame rails .idk
