We would recommend replacing the link entirely. You don't want to go to the trouble of replacement and then have the pin pop out shortly after repairs are complete.

What chain breaker tool is that as I’m looking for one for a half link chain but don’t know where to find one from what would do the job
I bought a half link chain and my chain tool doesn't fit the LONG ASS pin. I've broken the chain trying to fit it back in. Fuck this shit.
You're not gonna tell us how to get the other end of the chain on?
