Very good Bert, but you didn't show how you installed the new needle cup bearing for the counter shaft.🤔 Harley's service manual (shop manual) fails to mention it also!

I have a question a backer dd6 was installed in my 2001 road king. My shifter shaft seal is leaking. I have a new seal from Harley, will it work with the dd6 or would it be a different size?
Mr. Bert Baker, my ratchet pawl seems to have broken on my Baker 6 speed trans. I can attempt to shift gears, but it just moves/turns and doesn't not actually shift the pawl on the inside of the trans. I opened it up and it appears that I have to take apart my entire bdl belt drive that I have to access the trans in order to take apart the entire trans to replace the ratchet pawl that seems to be broken. Am I correct to assume that I have to take apart my entire trans in order to change the ratchet pawl? If so do you have any recommendations on tools and the best way to replace the ratchet pawl. I purchased it in 2005. Its a baker 6 speed. I think I paid about 3k-3,500 in 2005. You have a great product and I will continue to use baker on every one of my motorcycles and tell everyone I know that Baker is the only way to go!
Your problem is presumably solved, but tech support questions are best raised direct to the company and not on TH-cam because busy people won't have time to monitor every video, and if you contact them you will get the MOST RECENT applicable advice!
How about making more tech videos for all Baker products? Besides helping sales and reducing tech support calls they're great training aids for new mechanics or mechanics new to HDs. (I'm an old fart who learned the old ways but videos are better for visual learners like most people.)
I had to replace my trap door because the Baker one was warped I replaced it with the Simon do something about your trapdoor they’re thin like a Harley Davidson
Great video. There is only one thing I will like to know , can I install HIGH TORQUE BEARING to inner primary without the shop press?
