I wouldn't throw superlatives here, this should have been a normal communication for 10 years or so, especially after the European Super League fiasco. Having said that, I'm glad Edu is changing this and trying to make a real connection with fans again

Arteta and Edu really are trying to rebuild Arsenal the right way. you have to respect it. i don't know how fans hate people like this.
Those "fans" are just haters. It doesn't matter who's in charge, they just enjoy being negative
It's the Kroenkes people hate. And of course Arteta as manager is gonna get a lot of backlash because he is a rookie. But you can slowly see Arteta getting more and more fans on his side now.

Impressive from Edu so far. I wasn't so sure when he was appointed technical director but it feels like he is indeed competent and more importantly has the heart for the project/club.
He works very well with Mikel I think

@@paulie4450 Agree with everything except Sven Mislintat. That guy is actually very good at what he does. Just a shame it didn't work with us. Maybe if it wasn't for Sanheili he would have stayed and would most probably fit in well with what we are doing now. Regardless, we move !
Edu and Arteta need more respect from us for the work they done so far. Next season we will be in good run to finish in top 4. I hope we could win the UEL.
Love the signings, but it also shows you how good city actually is. Jesus and Zinchenko will shine at arsenal. Nice to see that arteta is respected by them so much

I think arteta and edu are waiting for someone good to be available rather than go for the ones that are available. The truth is that if they wanted tielemans, they would've gotten it by now. I don't think they rate tielemans, and I'm not sure if I rate tielemans either.
I would much rather wait and see who becomes available and how much money we can generate and stay patient.
For me tielemans is not same exact position as xhaka and the gap between the two is not that massive. Tielemans to me, does not look like a guy who's going to take us into next level.
@@aminerkin9844 exactly, A player like Milinkovic Savic will elevate the quality of the team. It is simple, if an europa league team want's to aim higher then they should sign champions league quality players. Not conference level players.

In reality, the really good players are not common and are rarely available, they also don't fit in every system, so you must be patient, invest on the ones you know very well, invest on players that make sense.
Invest on players that are working, and pay reasonable prices unless something big was available. I'm very very happy with positive contact news regarding saliba and saka. It seems like they're going to happen.
The best premier league players today, none of them were bought with crazy prices.
All Liverpool squad and most of man City squad were bought with reasonable prices and based on what was needed at the time unlike man u and PSG and Barca.

Honestly Edu didn't impress me after his first full season as the technical director. Fast forward til today he and Arteta totally convinced me
I just love the pics when a player sign a contract, teta and edu hands on the shoulders like if they try get up to leave they'll be guided to sit back down🤣 I joke but I'm so pleased with how this club is progressing we as fans always want that instant success but good things come to those who wait I believe in these two that we will be a stronger team for years to come under their choices in transfers. I think I love the way the signings are going
As fans we need to recognize that we asked the club for more engagement and they are delivering. Edu has spoken directly about transfer strategy at least twice in interview. They also did a great job getting Jesus done early, I was worried for a bit but now with him joining and Eddie extended its looking better.

Most open and honest our directors have been in literally years and years. Edu is perfect for this role, Arsenal man at heart and clearly understands what he's doing. Got his stick when he was first appointed but time to give this man the credit he deservers, another great window thus far.

Every interview Edu has given from day 1 he always told us the blueprint and the intent. We just have to listen, they have followed their plan. Few interviews back he said this window is about "1 or 2 star players". I love the transfer structure when viewed with emotions aside.

Edu has really surprised me. I wasn't sure what to think when he was appointed, but it seems that he and Mikel have been working well together. In the last couple of summers we've done really well in our recruitment and hopefully that will continue. Also having this kind of communication from someone who plays a key role in all acquisitions, departures, and extensions is really meaningful.
Good to have someone so intertwined with the history of the club in a position like this. An Invincible and a captain in potentially the two most important non-playing positions in the club. Ya have to love it.

I really enjoyed listening to your other video hearing how important it is to cut from the squad those players with the wrong attitude as if it isn’t all for 1 or death to desire. Your talent and service to the club is appreciated by this supporter.

The key word which us arsenal fans have been crying out for is proactive! This transfer window we have been 👍
Gotta say Edu and Mikel are both moving us in a very exciting direction. The project and plan in place feels like we're getting back on track in a positive exciting dynamic direction. It feels like there's an air of wengerness about the squad but with added influence from clubs like city.
As long the owners keep backing these guys I really feel like we can start to force our way back into being a top 4 team and collect some silverware.

Excellent window so far. I think we still need a big man striker to replace Laca/Giroud, and maybe a Tielemans type too. Looking forward to the new season.
Just to note. Watch how Eddie plays when his back is towards the goal.
Laca isn't known for his aerial strength. So Eddie is doing some of what Laca does.

I have to say after the first season with the William signing I am now starting to feel more impressed by the club's approach to the market especially as we wanted Martinez lost out and had an alternative lined up. No messing about!
