    For adding shipping cost at Order level for FMB - can you load (excel) actual shipping cost and warehouse (3PL) cost by order? Here's what the file looks like: Order_ID, QTY, Shipping_Cost, WH_Fee

    So does automatic mode automatically take the cost paid for label in seller central and apply it?

    • @sellerboard
      @sellerboard  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi!
      If Amazon gives us the information that a label was used on the order, then we will show its cost regardless of the setting (as partner transportation program), otherwise the cost as per the setting will be applied.

    Is there a delay/schedule for getting FBM shipping price from Amazon? Sometimes I see Shipping: 0$ but it is actually not. Also is there a way to break shipping price down to it's components like shipping billing, fuel surcharge, etc?

    • @sellerboard
      @sellerboard  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, there could be several reasons for this, either related to settings or data delays on Amazon. We advise you to write to our support team and provide a specific example, and they can quickly find an explanation for such a case.
      As for breakdown, we have this feature in our "To-Do" list. Hope it will be available soon!

    So it does not pull in the shipping cost from Amazon like Inventory Lab does and assign to the appropriate order? Amazon provides that data surprised it has not been incorporated.

      We have an Auto option here (we talk about it in the video) - in this case, the FBM shipping cost will be shown the one that Amazon will pass on to us for the specific order.
      The same applies to the case when Amazon passes us the cost of labels for the prime program used for the specific order.

    If I set the shipping to automatic will it use the shipping price I paid through seller central? Say I have 50 units of soap and one order cost $5 the second cost $5.80 and another cost $5.30. How will that accurately be reflected through Sellerboard? This part is so stressful and confusing me, I really want my numbers to be accurate?

    • @sellerboard
      @sellerboard  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello,
      In case of the Auto setting, sellerboard will show the figure that Amazon will give us for a particular order as Shipping, i.e. the amount that the buyer paid for shipping. If they give us, for example, 0, 0.80 and 0.30 - then these amounts will be shown in each order as Shipping. You can contact our support team, and we will help you to understand specific examples if necessary.

      @@sellerboard This is not the case in my situation. I purchase through Amazon 99% of the times but the shipping data does NOT show up in my account. I've contacted support team multiple times regarding this and I was also told that Amazon does not give Sellerboard UPS and USPS shipping data. This is very unfortunate because UPS is Amazon's preferred carrier and 99% of my shipments are through UPS or USPS. I know that other apps do show accurate shipping cost so I don't know why Sellerboard hasn't figured this out yet. The first 10 minutes of your video doesn't work for the majority of US sellers because depending on the zone, the shipping cost are all different. Therefore, it is crucial that every shipping cost is reflected correctly in our account. I have not been able to have my Sellerboard account pull accurate data from Amazon and I just renewed my annual subscription with you. Very disappointing.

    Hi, I've been doing FBM with mixed shipping methods, sometimes 2nd class, sometimes 2nd class signed for, sometimes 1st class, sometimes 1st class signed for. All of these methods have different costs.
    Nowadays I ONLY use signed for methods. However weekend sales will be sent out first class signed for first thing on a Monday morning. All other sales during the week Monday to Friday will be 2nd class signed for.
    What is the best way to...
    A. Reflect all shipping costs to date so far.
    B. Reflect all shipping costs going forward using the method explained.
    I'm not adverse to just putting in an automatic flat rate as it will be something like 75+% accurate for all my shipping fees associated with FBM. FBM has only been a big part of my business since the introduction of the restock limits anyhow. But I would prefer them to be accurate and not an approximation.
    Is it possible to enter all the exact costs manually to date? And then have a rule that uses the automatic costs? If I done that, I would still have an issue with the weekend sales vs the weekday sales, due to the 1st/2nd class shipping that I use throughout the week.
    Thanks for your help.

      There is not an option to enter different shipping costs per product, but you can add shipping costs per each order manually or using import feature. To change the shipping costs manually per each order please go to Dashboard and open the "Order items" section under the Tiles. Then click on the blue "Shipping" link and enter the correct value. If you prefer to bulk upload your shipping for multiple orders, please go to the "Products" page, click on the "Import" button, then open the second section in the opened pop-up(COGs & shipping by order), download the template, fill it and upload back to sellerboard.

    Regarding changing the amount of shipping paid per order, is there a way to do it in bulk? via import of sort?

    • @sellerboard
      @sellerboard  ปีที่แล้ว

      On the Products page, you can find the import button in the lower left corner.
      After clicking it, you will see a pop-up window where you can download a template (Shipping per order tab).
      Please open it and insert the order ID and its shipping cost in the corresponding columns, after doing so, save it and upload it back to sellerboard.

    Im trying to change the FBM shipping price for individual item and it is coming up with a message "the order was shipped via the Prime by seller program. Sellerboard determines the shipping cost automatically therefore it cant be changed manually. I am not a prime FBM seller sometimes I send the item first class and other times second class. How can I make this change?

    What about if I want to charge shipping cost for specific products, because I did it. It went to all my products.

      If you change the shippings costs under "Settings", they'll be applied to all products.
      Please go to "Products", there you can change the shipping by product.

    Say for example i set shipping cost for $8.89 and the actual cost is $7.15 when i buy shipping on seller central, will that be automatically calculated for the gain of (8.89 - 7.15 = $1.74) ?

    • @sellerboard
      @sellerboard  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. If the shipping label was purchased through the seller central, we take the actually cost paid to amazon (regardless of what you entered as the shipping cost for FBM orders in sellerboard).

  • @bluewellATV

    So when I buy shipping on seller central for normal fbm orders will it
    automatically calculate?

    • @sellerboard
      @sellerboard  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you buy shipping via seller central, it's accounted for automatically. It shows up as "Postage Fee" (e.g. in the tiles view in the dashboard, under "more => Amazon Fees")

    why cant you just take exact what we pay for shipping as an expense? is it impossible?

    • @sellerboard
      @sellerboard  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We do take exactly what you pay for shipping if you buy shipping in the seller central. If you don't, you need to enter your actual shipping costs. You can do it either on the account level, or on product level if they are different by product or even at the order level (it's also possible to import a spreadsheet with order numbers and respective shipping costs.
