French heirloom carrots are insanely large but not long. See if you can find seeds. You will never grow another carrot. 4 inch round and short.

Your videos are so nice but i dont have any pots *for vegetables* only for flowers so i plant them in my lawn instead. I had grown carrots only red and orange, cabbage, napa, spinach et cetra. They look very healthy. Your method is best because it work in only soil also.

Thank you for all your help. I'll try in containers now. Our whole garden is nearly rock hard clay, and even with lots of compost and other help, the depth is too shallow for any normal root crops.
I'm looking forward to pretty carrots now 😋

Best way to eat carrots. When you are hungry, just pull one or two out and wash and eat. They are sweet when freshly picked.

Do a thing before cooking carrot cut te top off a little bit below and put the carrot back in ground. It will produce beautiful flower and some tiny seeds and plant them to get a little different carrot if you plant white and black and red and orange and purple and yellow or any variety you planted. You are going to get a weird and different carrot. Because they cross pollinate. Make sure to cross polinate them
