Super video guys. I have two Yin Yang Monarch 4's. One I bought new in 2014, 1 of 6 and the second I bought from the shop, used. It is from 2011. I just love Fodera and yes, they are expensive but my Dad always said, "You get what you pay for, buy quality and you won't have to replace it." If we do move back to the US from Germany, I will have to visit the shop and sign the wall!
I can see why these guitars come at a premium. The Fodera team works slowly and skillfully to produce high-quality bass guitars. I truly enjoyed seeing everyone's passion for the Fodera brand. God bless :)
From 32:00 onward there is a song in the background. I knew I heard it before and sure enough my memory was not failing me. Its from the album "the book of Japes"
When I die I want to be in heaven - in the place like this! Ps. I can't stop watching anything from Fodera at the same time to know I will never have a chance to buy that Masterpiece! God bless you all! Take care!
Very nice tour 👌🏿Attention to detail. It's kinda like dreaming of owning a Ferrari or a Maserati but not quite being able to afford it 😁 I'm here for The Bass GOAT, Anthony Jackson 🖤🖤🤍, it's why I love the Fodera 👌🏿 Greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬👊🏿🖤
I wonder if the cause of the headstock crack repair at 29:35, was do to the open environment of the facility. I have never heard of such a thing happening.
Great video! However I was surprised/saddened by one bit of info: the 2-toned Yin Yang design is just painted on. I thought that was 2 pieces of wood fitted together!
i will never stop improving myself until one day, i am worthy of owning a fodera. cheers from malaysia. sidenote: leave a space for my name on the wall XD
Right? Shits disgusting. Then they charge thousands of selfish, greedy dollars for these exceedingly average instruments. I’ve never once in all of my nearly 20 years as a musician played an instrument worth paying more than $700-$800 for. Anything beyond that price is often seemingly just the consumer being wayyyyyy overcharged for completely nonsensical aesthetics and foolish “bells and whistles”.
@@Mattm182 Yes and soon as the thrills gone in the guitar will be in the closet or sold just like alembic in the seventies everyone had to have one it is incredible how the human mind can be pulled to such b/s when at one time in america even the cheapest thing were of great quality.

It's funny how after all these years, those basses haven't taken off. Most people say they want them because of the fact that they're so expensive and supposedly special. Well, they are expensive.

My american made precision and jazz bass are more than capable of doing the job!!!! And furthermore you come off like an arrogant ass!!!! So what!!!!! You can afford it,but so can !!!! I don't like them and I don't want one!!!! Don't dump on someone else because they can't afford one...........that ain't cool............
Disgusted by the prices of these instruments. Hope the business gets run into the ground. Have a great day! Lololol $3,150 for a very average P-bass and such. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that.
Big facts. Guarantee that one could get the same playability, if not better, if they got a much cheaper instrument and applied a couple of modifications. I could probably buy something reputably bad like a Glarry- do a setup on it and change the pickups and maybe the nut/saddles out and it will play and sound every bit as good as these “luxury instruments”.
that is seriously cool to see the magic and the people ❤
So cool I got to see my bass in the Spray Booth :) , the best team!!!! Love you guys
@@landrybass0000 yeah that's a good idea, I would happily keep them in a safe place :)

I accidentally stumbled into Fodera once 25 years ago by opening the wrong door, and it was awesome to be on the inside and see around.

As a beginner, I have absolutely no business buying something like this. But if I’m only going to only ever own one, it’s something to consider.
Awesome video!!

Anyone know the health status of Anthony Jackson??
Beautiful exotic guitars yes all at the cost of indigenous homelands from around the world.

How in the world does Fodera take inventory for tax audits?

Why not get air conditioning in the shop? It's almost 2025 - no reason for workers to spend their days in discomfort

They have wood from ALL the continents!
Antarctica too?
Slapstore lol
Largest wood collection in the world lmao
I wonder how you guys deal with biological contamination with all that wood around in the shop
