Finally!! Johnny likes the proprietary Pope electronics at least in this bass. One of the best explanations of switch by switch knob by knob intricacies I have heard in a while.
I have a pretty nice bass collection. Recently came into enough cheddar to finally step into the boutique realm. Fodera was on the short list, but I wound up going Dingwall. Multi-scale was just too intriguing to resist. Nice chops, like always. Grats on the Fodera, she's gorgeous.
People can't talk about the quality of a bass only a small amount of people can afford. And because they're such a huge investment, you'll have gigantic amounts of confirmation bias from owners. But at least it's not the Presentation II, which I'm sure is only owned by Anthony Jackson as no sane person would spend 28 grand on a bass which has no electronics.
They are nice basses for sure , but the best artists world wide still play Fenders and Stingrays. I had an opportunity to buy a Fodera but I liked my WARWICK’s playability and tone better.
Passive is better for sound egineers Im a soundman myself and i really like it when bassist use passives, or if it active, i would tell them to not touch their EQ But those artist you said probably have fodera or ken smith in their storage
Super nice bass, how's the warrior coming along. Memphis friend. 💣💥🔥🎸 oh! You mentioned on the bass head MB500. You said Aguilar mb500 should have been GK MB500🤔
I have a standard 5 as well that i bought used- one year old.. fodera they play very "easily" 105-45 gauge feel like 100-40s.. it is crazy .. it is like cheating lol

My goodness I’m hearing all the tones I like in this one bass…man I need one.
You won't regret it I can't stop playing mines
Bless you! Mr Long.
It's Fodera, folks. You pay to play. 'Nuff said.
Fodera até just amazing. Here in Brazil they are more expensive then nice cars.
Beautiful instrument with a killer sound and never mind the haters.
Bartolini is my fav thing to pair with flexcore
Incredible bass!
1 more is coming lol😅😂😅 great video sir !
I thought boutiques basses will use the most expensive strings, but hearing SIT calm my heart a lot

Ooof how can you resist a fodera? I hate how ding walls look. Did you get a color or natural wood? What is the specs?
Get an Adamovic
@@peterjanjanin9883 that's a high contender too. What about skjold?

@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power aha that’s why he has such a bad sound I always thought why does Victor play with that bass?
@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Powerfair enough but , Bass players that influenced me all play MM , FENDERS and WARWICKS.
Sounds awesome
Man the electronics on this one have a ton of options for tone, still has that "Fodera sound" throughout though
Clean with a lot of bite!

How much again 💵
I wouldn't spend that much cake on a bass with a string tree unless it was a Sadowsky or Fender Custom Shop
Those standard Foderas have nothing standard.... Killer basses
