  • Today I am sharing 5 journals that, as a therapist, I recommend for your mental health! I've struggled with anxiety for a long time. But after starting therapy and implementing the practice of journaling into my life, I found that journaling allowed me to get into the nitty gritty thoughts I was having. So these recommendations are tried and true! In this video, I am sharing who I think would benefit most from these and giving you an inside glimpse into how they look!     I really like the idea that was kinda unspoken in this video that you can get a different journal / have a different journal practice depending on the season. I love that some of these options were for shorter periods so you can switch out journals depending on what you need!
    Personally, I loved the 5 Minute Journal and I'm intrigued by their newer edition that includes fitness goals. But also, I'd never heard of the Self Care Planner and that seems like a good fit for me right now during this busy season to make sure I'm prioritizing rest/avoiding burnout.

    What a great video. I've been journaling for years. I'm in therapy and learning self care, which has helped me immensely. The self care journal is right on time for me. Im so happy your video appeared in my feed. I subscribed. Thank you!

    This was really handy to help me get the right journal that works with my goals.
    The bloom hard cover journal is so pretty.
    I love to write down my goals but have never really journalled so I would love to give that a go xx

    In April that's my birthday i went shopping with my best friend and i went to a bookstore and got myself the five minute journal and i love it 📓🖋🩷🩵

    I very much enjoyed this video. I have Cystic Fibrosis, diabetes, and asthma and quite a bit of medical trauma from many procedures and chronic daily health issues. Do you know of a journal that would help me with anxiety about health, or and specific for health issues. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

      I didn’t mention it in this video but I’ve heard great things about the Anti-Anxiety Notebook by Therapy Notebooks. With clients who have health anxiety it helps jotting down rational versus irrational thoughts and labeling them. This journal helps with that ❤️

    Have you tried the Self Care Planner by Simple Self Co? I'm a huge planner person and it's the only one that I've actually used all the way through and repurchased.

      Not sure what you mean all the links to the journals mentioned should be in the description but this video is from 2022 so some links might no longer be working 😅 so ..

    I know this video is a year old but I’m curious.. I was diagnosed with adhd this year and saw the adhd journal that’s pretty popular.. do you recommend I give it a try?
