Larapinta Trail - how I dealt with the Section 5 water crossing (solo)

It’s actually quite close after Hugh Gorge Junction. Probably about 200-300 metres

It was not too bad there as it gets some sun. Elsewhere it was bl&@dy freezing!

Totally agree. I tend to over cater but take the lightest gear possible so it’s still manageable
