I've only just lately discovered that Vatican papers will now conform to the secular dating of documents as BCE and CE, no longer BC and AD. I'm stunned, sickened. Unbelievable.
The submission to the currents of today are very sad and, in many respects, quite often seem to be an abandonment of truth in favor of smoke and obscuring reality; I think the Savior deserves our unrelenting, and tactful advancement of His kingdom here on earth. We are to advance against the gates of hell, not merely camp in the distance and exchange niceties, this can be done spiritually by fasting and prayer, and, as we are corporeal beings, by our words, actions, examples, participation in politics, the academy, science and the entire panoply of the human condition. Long Live Christ the King!

exactly!!! these are the people of the periphery who never are heard; parents struggling to bear witness to the faith while lgbtq plus bishops and priests denounce them; people who have been tempted scrupulously by same sex attraction and converted from their sins now as courage people; the nurses and doctors who refuse to give up their integrity to bend to the death culture of abortion euthanasia and now transgenderism mutilation; all the media people women as well as men who are giving voice to the vulnerable this papacy denounces and gas no idea who these vulnerable are ..
I'm still holding on to Vatican 2 because of Pope Benedict XVI...for the reason that he believes in it and as he slowly got older when he was cardinal he was regarded as more Conservative even though nothing really changed in his thinking its just the more progressive elements went further & further in their direction.
