Thank you so very much. I am a total beginner and hadn't even noticed those marks on my 1/4" foot!!! Had made a HUGE difference to me knowing that they're there and I have - for the first time ever - successfully made a mitred border! Yahoo!! Very many thanks!

I completely agree with the other comments. Your tutorial has the best details and close up pictures of how to lay the fabric and use the 1/4" foot. Your extra details answered my questions after watching other demonstrations. Yours is the best! Thank you!

Thank you so much 😍 now I’m going to do this binding the same way, sew each side, no need to join binding in the middle if you sew each side independently. 😍

A huge thank you from Florida! I’ve been sewing since I was seven (53 years), and I’ve always struggled with mitered corners...until now. Because of your wonderfully simple demonstration, I just created 13 perfect corners! Cheers!

Thank you for explaining how to measure to cut the boarder length. And explaining the three marks on the 1/4 inch foot...I have never heard that explained. Love your cute little iron and ironing board. I am going to look for one of those. Very handy.

I have always thought mitered borders too difficult to sew, until your excellent instructional video. I, too, have a Bernina, (not fancy or new) which I love. I never knew about the markings on the 1/4" foot, thank you for enlightening me. Happy and Healthy New Year.
