We just ordered this for my hubs. He has MS and is a stroke survivor. He walks with a rolling walker or a cane, due to left leg weakness. My degree is in OT, and I am thrilled we are able to get this! Hubs and I are so hopeful it will help him continue to be mobile and hopefully even improve his mobility.
@@123shawnvideo We just had the initial onboarding appointment yesterday (11/3). Honestly, if I hadn't seen it myself, I might not have believed it. With just the calf muscle portion activated he could walk better than he has in over 6 yrs. With the entire sleeve activated his walking was amazing. He said it felt like going from trying to lift concrete to not even having to think about walking. I cried watching him walk with it. Of course we're early in the process, but so far..so great!
Hello, so grateful for this informative interview. I am about to begin my Cionic journey and this video confirmed it is the way to go. Given it about a year old is there any chance you would update the progress of users and further development of the sleeve. So excited ❤
I hope that the Cionic sleeve is the perfect fit for you! A follow up interview is a great idea! I will add that to my list for the future! Thank you☺️
Hi there! For the most up to date information on shipping availability, I would recommend reaching out to Cionic via this link: cionic.com/contact?a=info@cionic.com
I have primary progressive multiple sclerosis and I fractured my ankle over 10 years ago and still pins in my weak ankle does the cionic sleeve still work
That's a great question! I would definitely recommend reaching out to them directly to obtain the most accurate information☺️ You can do via this link here: cionic.com/contact?a=info@cionic.com
Great question! I'm assuming it won't be covered by insurance since other electrical stimulation devices typically aren't, but there may be organizations that will offer grants to purchase products like this (like the MS Society, MSAA, MS Foundation, etc.). As for the price, at this time, I believe it's around $3k.
I hate the way electrical stimulation feels. Does it fire in the muscles of it’s not needed Ie maybe I only need hamstring and anterior tibialis help I don’t think I could handle it, does it hurt?
These are great questions - I would encourage you to reach out to their team as they can provide more detailed answers for you than I could myself. You can contact them via this link here: cionic.com/contact?a=info@cionic.com
Great question - I recommend contacting their customer service as they would have more information. You can do so here: cionic.com/contact?a=info@cionic.com
Great question - Given that all insurance companies vary on what they will cover, I would recommend reaching out to your provider directly to check with them ☺️
This was originally recorded as a podcast episode so there was minimal demonstration due to to that. Later we decided to post this for the TH-cam community ☺️
