I LOL'd. Turbo Yoda's (Al's) distaste for "internet professionals" at its finest. The dude is a master; it's pretty hilarious when people try to "educate" him about modding/fabricating.
I'm an Engineer and i don't approve of this project. Very dangerous combo.

Skid Factory and Bad Obsession are the best car mod/build channels by far. Keep up the good works chaps.
They are the only two car mod channels that I watch now.

I've been in industry for 25 years and can safely say that I've learned more from Al than most of the techs whom have work for me over the past few years. So much knowledge and experience, this show is the real deal! You guys also do a GREAT job showing how much time and effort go into projects like this - so many other shows condense 3 months of work into a 30 minute episode which I think really throws off guys who see something like this and want to give it a go themselves...only to be discouraged when after a month they cannot figure out their lack of progress and they give up. Major kudos guys, cheers!

This thing is gonna be more Barra than Bedford by the end of this project. Also, love these guys, this channel but has am I the only one who sees that AL LIED is the name of his shop. What he lied about I have no clue, but its one of those things that's once seen cant be unseen. This has been the greatest, most intensive build I have seen in a long time. Keep being the best build channel on YT.

Brass coat hangers are the best for finding the perfect rad hose, Bind it up the way you can route it and then take it with you and hold it up to the hoses in the parts store. It has saved me hours of back and forth and some complex jobs.

Speaking about wheat fix, if they are flaked, they r the same as wheaties. sugar smacks/ puffed wheat, is like the puffed rice you were taking about. But sugar snacks are coated with a sweetener. Hope this helps.

The guys at RIPS Motorsport in NZ do some serious work too and their aluminium welding is an art form.

Only ever use a stainless steel wire brush on aluminium when it's to be welded . Ferrous metal wire brush will impregnate the Ali with ferrous residue and cause porosity in the weld . Tip from an old welder . Lol
Shane.. ever seen anyone do that with a brass wire wheel? Not to prep for welding of course.. but to impregnate the brass. Looks pretty good to me.

Instead of using silicone joiners you could use Vibrant performance HD quick release clamps, great for boost, allows for some flex, easy to take apart if you need the intercooler pipe in two pieces.

Are you sure you will have enough pressure difference to actually get the heater to work between hot side of motor and top of the radiator? Or are you running it from the top of radiator to suction side of water pump?
