For people wondering. Last week they didn't play due to Mark being sick. This week they didn't play due to issues at the studio (no internet access & unable to record locally according to a video on their twitter).
I love this series, the characters the spontaneity of the GM introducing so many unexpected twists. I can not help but feel closely related to the group. I can truly imagine Rowan holding Ophelia tightly just bawling his heart out. Daisy having been so scared of her breaking character and running to hug her having felt her absence badly. Gruff simply breaking down where he stood with happy tears in his eyes with the heaviest sigh of his life as it finally dawns on him that he was ready to bleed out just to see her come back. And Zan still emotional from his recent revelations about his own secrets and realisation that Ophelia was probably the first person he opened up to, somewhat, moves towards her to shake hands probably (being a prideful dragon that he is). Seeing this Rowan just pulling him and daisy into a suffocating group hug with Ophelia. And Ophelia realising how much she meant to this group and how she would absolutely do everything to dedicate her new life towards this merry band of misfits, all the while not forgetting about Percival who is just standing there as if he already knew this will happen. PS: Sorry for the long-ass comment and spelling mistakes. Cheers and thanks.
Also, "Malady" means "a disease or ailment". Meaning that her parents had a sick daughter and named her "sickness" then named their healthy child Benedicta, meaning "The Good One". Their parents were dicks.
Malady means "sickness or disease". Malady and Benedicta's parents literally named their sick kid "Disease" and then gave the healthy one a name that means "The Good One". While I know that Mark made up these names, in game, Benedicta and Malady's parents are complete A-Holes.
Good observation! Alas, I wince a bit every time 'dominus ignarum' is mentioned. It doesn't translate as 'Home of Ignarius' as I think (but do not know) Mark intends. In fact it translates as 'Lord Idiot' (or 'Lord of [plural] ignorance'!) It's amusing and gives me a giggle every time it comes up - particularly given how grand and imposing (yet apparent impious?) Ignarius is. 'House of Ignarius' - which is what I think he's going for - would be 'Domi Ignarii' - but this is nerdity to the nth degree so I'l shut up now.
I'm also pretty sure they're a reference to the Locked Tomb book series which both Mark and Rhi have mentioned previously. There are a pair of twin sisters in the series that resemble the Sister Inquisitors, one being the picture of beauty and health and the other being infirm and ill.
I have been watching your Lightfall campaign between episodes and it is fantastic to see the player growth and development since then! Love you guys 💛 thank you for the phenomenal stories.
I'm just catching up on a couple episodes and I'm only 40 minutes into this one. uuummmm if ophelia is ordered to strike down any one that seeks to strengthen other planar realms, what is going to happen with her and nym??? The potential for this to get juicy is both nerve-wracking and exciting.

I would like to make mention that a rapier is a Finesse Weapon. Not sure if Rhiannon (Ophelia) is taking that into account (not sure what she's using to calculate her attack roll with it) As a finesse weapon it can be dex or strength based, and I believe she has a distinctly higher dex than strength.I believe her strength is a +0 while her dex is +2. Of course, she may already be using her dex mod. But if not, it's worth mentioning. (I've missed such a thing with a new weapon as a player, and I've overlooked mentioning it as a DM until the following session, because it wasn't immediately an item I thought of right away. Just trying to be helpful)
The issue is that for her Barbarian rage effects to be used she has to use strength based attacks and ability checks, at least for the base damage modifier. Rhiannon really just made a very suboptimal barbarian. A highly in character one, but suboptimal none the less.
@@dcdrizzz3041 I haven't had a Barbarian in a party, as player or DM in a long time. But when she isn't raging (yes, I know, if a barbarian is engaging in melee, they should be raging if at all possible) it might be a valid option

"just hits" and "just misses" is common DM speech for "very close to the actual AC" so players (and viewers) have an idea what the to-hit target is. The rationale being that in-character, an experienced fighter would be able to gauge their opponent after striking at them.

the story telling here is fantastic, I have never seen any players that work so hard to debuff or nerf themselves during combat.
Daisy continuing to have the highest body count and looking like a little sweetheart is the best to me.
