very decent prices and home.Seem like there are still some real people out there selling for reasonable prices.Some others seem to be trying to exploit the market trying to selling much over what the cost here in USA are.They need to get real making it affordable if they want to make a steady flow of income because people are not dumb and research today.They need to learn that for people to leave their own country and comfort they have to make it worth!many homes there are better bought here.

On the market for a long time, this indicates the price is too high. Nice but too much money....
as a foreing imvestor what happen when the oweners past away ,does the Costa Rica goberman reclaim the land right back so if u tink about it you never own anything it is a beautiful country but l would no risk my money too much at stake.
No the government in Costa Rica does not do that. If you put someone else's name on the property then it would never transfer out when you due and no probate. OR after a long and somewhat expensive probate it would go to your most immediate relative such as wife, mother, father etc. Wills don't work well in Costa RIca from waht I've heard. But having someone's name who you want it to go to when you die will work great.
