Probably Bystial/Horus/Thunder, as I feel like it's got some decent positioning in the format, but is also rather skill intensive. So probably not going to do the best climbing DC with it, but I think it can definitely put up some amount of results that could help me prep for my return to TCG
Rikka Sunavalon is also a really good deck for this format because a lot of times, when people see you normal summon Loci, they just instantly scoop because they don't want to waste time watching combo.

for a person which played gimmick puppet in TCG, the deck is very good into tenpai, first of all they let you go first, if they shifter you the only way for them to win is to have dark hole/raigeki to pop your monsters otherwise you just put your 3100 body and they can't out it under shifter, they can go trident but you pop that on summ or you just steal with trap. On MD there's the new monster too which helps extend. The ht you're most vulnerable to are bystials but you can play around them if you have a good hand, other than that, ash/veiler/imperma you can turn those off with your effects so they are not a problem. The deck going second has some good plays, first of all if you open field spell your monsters are immune so every interaction your opponent has does not affect your monsters, then there's the puppet spell which foolishes lot of stuff (vs yubel you can foolish up to 4/5 monsters) and you play 12 non engine (I prefer board breakers but on MD seems better to go for ht with maxx c and all)

I made it to stage 2 playing ice barrier runick, with a little switch up to my Genex deck every now and then. Pot of desires with deep sea prima Donna has really boosted my ice barrier
How did you beat the algorithm which allows your opponent to win the coin flip 80% of the time? And did you just always draw the Ash for when your opponent inevitably opens Maxx C?
Playing Ritual Beast it feels like it somewhat counters Tenpai, like I don't feel the same way facing Tenpai with fire king or Yubel. But feel like 30% of the times ritual plays through their handtraps where the others wouldn't
Lab againts Chimera & Voiceless Voice atleast they have the D Barrier for summoning archetype. But againts Fire King, the Lab SEC variant would be more powerfull since its a board wipe banish.
I would love to know if you have any thoughts on scareclaw. I know it is barely even rogue but I just really enjoy the deck and it has some pretty mean matchups with some of the top decks. A lot of Yubel decks just fold to Scareclaw Kashtira, same with Tenpai. The rest of the matchups is not as strong but I still win a decent amount of games. Some hands just struggle with Tri-Heart backed up by the adventure negate and Baronne/Twinsaw.
I'm playing Chimera and idk how to feel about it. Some games absolutely nothing my opponent can do to beat my hands and other times I can get blown out completely going second playing into things (that or I brick with only 1 interaction killing me)
Would you comment on True Draco decks, now that Master Peace is back? How do different versions compare to each other and the meta (such as without an Extra deck, i. e. with the Monarch floodgates, or some combination with Swordsoul or another Extra deck variant)?

It has an awful Tenpai matchup so it's not very fun or good currently imo. Out of the decks in the video Mathmech is the cheapest for sure. True Draco is insanely cheap and I think Marincess is still pretty capable, and some of the structure decks like Blackwing or Ninja are pretty competent too. I'm on Vaalmonica which doesn't require many UR but does require a lot of SR. edit: Goblin Biker is very affordable as well but I'm not really familiar with how good it is.
Sadly memento isn’t too great in master duel currently, HOWEVER, it’s support (Creation King, Shleepy, and Akihiron) will skyrocket the deck into a solid tier 3 or 2 option and should be coming soon considering it’s been nearly half a year since the first wave of memento cards released. Because of the way konami releases support in master duel it’s not worth investing into a memento deck until the support comes out which will give memento a secret pack to pull from.
