Yep I run mine at 800 phase as well . Came from a GLE controller to the KO and it’s night and day , crushes my BAC set up ! Best customer service I have ever dealt with in any industry . Highly recommend the Ko guys .

@@stingyrogerr It seems to be a software issue. Apparently switching the throttle to ECO fixes the issue, but they've limited the power that can be used in said throttle profile on a recent update.
@@nxdboi still have this issue on ECO on latest software not fixxed! But limiting to 150A means you can only use 50% of the power they claim it is good for 💔 last time i had KO tune my bike they told me not to use eco and to use standard or sport for less throttle hang? Whole thing is a mess!!!!
3:25 idk what your talking about my GLE bac 8k definitely mounts to the stock brackets doesn’t need anything else one harness and one connector and that’s it it actually sits flushed then the ko controller

I have a GLE , it needs these goofy metal brackets to mount it , needs to have a whole bunch of extensions fitted to the motor phase wires to reach the controller , have to put Botha through to join them then heat shrink the wires and the silly thing is not waterproof on the plugs . Then I had to pay extra for a heat sink ! BAC is a pice of shit designed for a golf cart ! KO for life !!!

Also saying the bac requires brackets and custom long harnesses….bac is the largest resold controller for surrons to date. Also many people wait months and months for there kits so saying it takes 2 days is unrealistic. I’m still waiting people to be happy out of the box till I buy.

How many KW can a stock sur ron motor handle without worrying to much about it going bad?I understand the heat issue but can I run 14kw and be good to go? Thanks so much!! I have ko controller and 72v battery but have not installed yet.
That motor is rated for 6kw. But most people don't have trouble using it much higher. I personally run in-between 8-10kw when I ride without overheating issues.
@@martinoberg82 there are a lot of options of battery that would be able to do 17kw. ChiBatterysystems sells great battery upgrades for the surron, or EBMX has a lot of great options 72v or 60v batteries for both bikes that would work good.
I'm waiting for some positive feedback on the new KO Nano controller and I'll take one. Ko Technologie is starting to develop a nice range of products, it's great.
Anyone know a way to get shipping discounts? I get their pricing is very attractive but it's $119 shipping on the nano or $129 on the full ko, effectively making their pricing $100 more than what they list.
Lmao. I run 10kw now and my surron motor overheats after 15 minutes of hard riding. The 72v chi battery voltage sags hard! These are things then all these popular TH-cam channels completely failed to explain. These power ratings around 20 kW are a total joke. Yes you could do 20 kilowatts for a handful of seconds. Don't even think you're going to do 10 kW continuous or more.

I was paying $1500 for a BAC then paying $50 for da App then $150 to have these con men tune it . Now a KO controller is 1k , free app and I can call a KO guy any time of day to help me tune ! F&$K EBMX and they fraud convicted owner same for GLE over priced rip off shite ! Ima support KO all the way in any given day and love doing it !
Surronster just put the 3000 dollar KO kit on his surron an it went 53 miles an hour witch it claimed went way faster then that.. because the company said it’s goes fast then the surron witch goes 55MPH.. how fast dose your KO KIT GO??

Surronster doesn't know how to set up or tune it. Yet he tells hundreds of thousands of people it's bad. Unfortunate.. Also, he didn't drop $3k on that kit, he was given that kit.

That motor is rated for 6kw. But most people don't have trouble using it much higher. I personally run in-between 8-10kw when I ride without overheating issues.

No. New controller does not require a new battery. It can take new batteries though

I'd say it's actually closer to 300. Buts hard to say. The stock bike is 6kw and it feels like a 100
