First time I played dangun feveron I was tripping on mushrooms. A great experience and a great game no one talks about. Stumbled across your fps videos and seeing this was your first vid you earned a sub.
Thanks! Yeah, Dangun Feveron is a blast, and quite unique even today. The moment you boot the game you're presented with all these bangers. One after another. It's a good feeling. I'm planning of doing more history videos about shmups. I'm thinking, probably... Dimahoo!
for a first history video i think you did good. you will get into a groove in no time i have enjoyed many cave shooters but have yet to play Dangun Feveron but it looks pretty cool and the whole disco idea is pretty unique
Thanks, man. I really appreciate it. And yes, Dangun Feveron is fantastic. I'd even go as far as to say I sometimes struggle to choose whether to replay DoDonPachi DaiFukkatsu or this one for the 10th time. They're THAT great.
The game didnt vibe with me, sadly. I dont understand how to maximize my damage output on Dangan Feveron. And I also played this in browser which gives me bajillion times of input lag.
Yeah, Cave shmups aren't a walk in the park. May I suggest a much easier Shmup I've played recently on the PS1? The game is Stahlfeder: Tekkou Hikkudan. Pretty easy for newcomers! And there's Air Gallet too (gets impossible towards the end though)
@@freeckycakeOG I am not looking for an easier shmup right now. I am set on trying Mirage Feathers if it ever comes out this year. Btw, is the game that ypu mention have ships that play fundamentally different from one another like Castle of Shikigami?

@@freeckycakeOG I hadn't even heard of Dimahoo so thanks for mentioning it. Looks neat.
@@StodgyAyatollah Yes!
It isn't that known. Have a blast!
Maybe I could do a list of " obscure Shmups in the future"? can't wait.
