Yun mga ngsasabi na hndi deserve ni Padrigao alang alam sa basketball... Lastimosa is a 1 man crew while padrigao is a team player kc may systema and ATENEO.
Yung individual award dapat di na kasali Ang mga Import dapat nalang select Sila Ng best import nalang kung baga award goes to local nalang...

They are not considered as imports, they are student-athletes as well. Wala tayong magagawa, numbers and stats says it all. On the contrary, malaki naman ang mga naitulong ng mga FSA's to improve our home-grown players.

Lastimosa is not included in mythical 5? It's like Nelson Asaytono in the PBA that during his prime he's always in the sports headlines every after game and yet he is never been included in the PBA'S 25 greatest. Tsktsktsk the selection process is indeed annoying huh.
The MVP, mythical 5 and ROTY are based on statistical points though, it is not a subjective selection/best player by position type of thing.

Jerom Lastimosa (from Adamson) is much deserving than Padrigao.. Even the audience in the Coliseum disagreed (booed) when Padrigao was announced as part of the Mythical Five (PG position).
I guess they booed Padrigao because of his previous issues, not with him having the award. Besides, he is #2 when it comes to statistical points.

@@athenstar10 I personally think that Kouame has better motor and is a better overall player but it doesn't really matter. SBP wants to get NBA level imports like Blatche and both of them are not.
Diouf has been better offensively because UP has a lot of weapons in the paint like Tamayo or Lucero, and Ateneo can't really afford to double team him much because of that. Unlike Ateneo, when a player feeds the ball to Kouame, it is pretty much guaranteed that he will be finishing it which is why he gets tons of double teams inside the paint. Kouame and Diouf already faced off when Diouf was with CEU and he wasn't dominant when he's the primary option inside.
