As a UP fan, the defensive adjustments made by Ateneo and Coach Tab were superb. Giving the best defensive team in the league a run for their money. Prayers up for Zav Lucero; let's hope that his knee injury is nothing serious.

Game 1 fourth quarter there was 3 minutes of Ateneo excellent defense and UP can't score. I knew it coaching staff figured out how to stop UP and game 2 a dominant win for Ateneo. Exciting game 3 of these 2 great teams. I'm betting Ateneo win.

Truth to be told, i really dont like this kind of bullying. Ginawa din naman yan ni ayo with lasalle but mas malala yung sa up. Yung iba sobrang intentional na and what they did to ange is kinda sad. They already know that his knee is injured yet they are still targeting his knees. So disappointing. 😩

Ateneo just needs to match the energy and aggressiveness of UP. That was the difference last year and in Game 1. When the game is physical, it is tougher to execute their offense (tough to handle in traffic, the jumpers don't fall) so they need to make it equally tough for UP and go after the boards and loose balls.
UP needs to take advantage of the PF matchup. Carl Tamayo SHOULD force Tab to make tough choices at that position because Ateneo doesn't have anyone who can handle him 1 on 1 except Kouame.
Sana si kuame. Tutal naturalized at matagal na sa pinas pwede mag laro sa pba as local. Ng mag challenge naman sa liga natin

The Ateneo team defense is somewhat physical while the Maroons are just flowing with their defense no little effort of physicality. They should give back the Blue Eagles a dose of their physicality. Complacency during a championship game is not allowed you give your best defense because a good defense is a good offense.
