The effort is commendable but is this enough. At ground level is any concrete work is being executed. I have seen exploitation of this mighty river starting from Goumukh till it merges with the sea in Bengal. The nexus between politicians and greedy business mafia's will for surely destroy this pious river. For them heritage, history and mythology and over and above ecology do not matter. For these power and money mongers only votes and money matters. Sorry Ganaga Maa we your children could not save your honor, though you gave your nectar to the man kind and flourished generations over generations of us over thousands of years. Truly, Maa Ganga we do not deserve you.
