it's not about how it looks at all. the video is about revolutions in fashion. they just show that now the technology has advanced to the point when we can literally print clothes. PRINT. that's awesome, if you ask me)

Do people in the comments not understand the word revolution? It's not about what's 'popular', it's about innovations. 3-D printed clothes may not be what everyone wears but it's still something never before seen in fashion, therefore, REVOLUTIONARY.
RinaPinxz22 i don't think so. Revolution is sonething people accept and go with it. All the other decades in this video has something we still use. But i don't think 3-d fashion will be like that. İt is revolutionary, but not in fashion industry. At least we can not foresee it now.

I've never seen anybody wear the 2016 outfit (I really hope it's not a new trend it looks really uncomfortable I mean you're wearing plastic wtf ) and the 2000 reminds me of disney channel fashion.

I always find the 50s the most glamorous - the perfect balance between "classy" and "non-restrictive".
I guess I expected something different from revolutions. 1900s: the shift away from corsets as everyday wear.

Nah, it's way easier to look back and see if something was important, but when you're in the moment, u can't pick and choose, bc everything seems either insignificant or really important. And everything seems normal, but when you look back, a lot of stuff looks weird and/or different.

Chris The Awesome exactly! This decade gave us nothing new. High waist pants, crop tops, hipster, lumber, 90s chunky shoes, everything is recycled.. Designers are feeding recycled bullshit to kids and they are eating it up.

Actually, if you look closely into fashion, most decades also recycled trends. In the 70's a lot of dresses looked like the ones in the 30's/40's and in the 80's also a lot of the stuff was inspired from the 50's. Not as much as today, but still. The new stuff is mostly materials.
@Caroline Lapointe, you're exactly right. Most trends and styles have been cycling in and out of fashion for decades. This new "90's choker trend" has actually been a thing for centuries, that was just the last time they were popular.
