Few fun facts about Kichi Kichi! If you're disabled (psychically or mentally) you eat there for free, he actually owns a small four bedroom apartment complex that he lets his employees' stay in if they don't have anywhere to call home, he offers a service to women to get home safe seeing as there's a nightclub with bouncers twenty minutes down the road and most awesomely he actually names some of his dishes after his regulars!
I just appreciate Mitsuo Ito's response, "Instead of checking if it tastes good, it's more about whether it tastes different, because it is delicious every day."
The omurice guy is straight out of an anime and I love it. His enthusiasm, his hair, even the stuff he says "Instead of selling meals, I consider it a business of selling dreams." I MEAN COME ON!
As someone who was privileged enough to dine at Kichi Kichi in December last year, I can attest that the owner is an absolute bundle of joy and one of, if not the friendliest chef/owner I have ever met. And to anyone wondering. Yes, the food does taste as good as it looks in this vid.
I adore Motokichi Yukimura, and honestly I hope to never see him sad, hurt, or disappointed because it would break my heart (even though those are all perfectly natural human emotions and he is of course human lol)
As my boss at an old restaurant told me, the experience is the most important part of the meal, it can make or break anything. One can serve an adequate food and resurface themselves with quality hospitality.

I love how the last chef was like "My son asked me for some eggs for breakfast, so I spent the next 5 years on this farm to get him the best egg when he's in high school."
May the kichi kichi guy keep that smile forever and live a long happy blooming life!!!! I better not hear anything about his business ever shutting down!

Japanese people have such pride and dedication to every aspect in their lives it's so amazing how much they love what they do and just the love for it, I'm so jealous
They are also notorious racists, and hold themselves to such a high standard to demonstrate how much better they are than everyone else. Michael Crichton (known for his EXTENSIVE research) touched on this in his book Rising Sun, and with a little further reading it becomes apparent how bad it is. These are the people who raped something like 100k women in Nanking less than 100 years ago... guess they took pride and were dedicated in that aspect of their lives as well.

kichi kichi chef is the physical embodiment of all religions, values and virtues of all time.
"Your happiness is my happiness" can we like clone him?
Even if we can't clone him, we can still learn from his example.
the last egg guy's story behind his egg is so sweet 😚
That kichi kichi guy made me laugh and smile so much luv how he’s is so happy about his job and happ to serve ppl his food luv that personality about him
Watching that omurice slice open is one of the most satisfying things. EVER.
Please don't be offended but I feel if you could change your user name to 'BangTan in your area' it would sound so much more satisfying 😅 (like the 'BlackPink in your area')
AAARRRMMMYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
This omurice chef has been on buzzfeed at least 3 times now
He could be featured 10x here and I'd watch every video of him.
Sandi Koo I guess he’s really good, so why complain? 😂

The fact that his hair is dyed makes it that much more awesome and he should be a character on shokugeki no soma !
Chef Motokichi's hair is as colorful as his personality

The Kichi Kichi chef was one of my highlights in Japan, it was so much fun to attend his restaurant and he is such a lovely person!
The lady in the background at the beginning just here's then say "egg egg egg egg egg egg (English) egg fact!"
That Kichi Kichi guy is the Japanese Willy Wonka.
Perfect description.
Soooo true, that chef was AMAZING!
Willy wonka is the American kichi kichi guy
Come with me
And you'll be
In a world
Of pure im-egg-ination
Kira1Lawliet lol!!! I totally agree!!!
I look at how picky Andrew was at the beginning of this video series and where he is now, it truly astonishes me how much his stance on food has changed
Yeah
Andrew should make an omurice, show the chef that he has been practicing... He had a video by himself learning the omurice from this chef
It's called acting. They are all actors/directors/film-school graduates.
Shut up
You are over analyzing a video where two friends eat eggs good god
I keep forgetting that chef Motokichi has like red purple hair. Also! I love that man so much. Just...ugh! The way he expresses himself whole cooking is just so beautiful and it makes me so happy. Watching people who love making food in general, makes me happy. It doesn't matter what food they are making, what region or country, as long as they have a passion for making a dish is enough to make me smile like an idiot!
nice story is this just volume one?
manuel mengata lol
Gordon Ramsey?
Good woman staying true to the kitchen
Ima Bandito ITS FOKEN RAAAAW
The “egg fact” combined with “the more you know” might just be my new favorite thing.
How can i subscribe to Worth it but not Buzzfeed?
Some dreams don't come true
The hardest choices require the strongest of wills.
Unfortunately we must compromise
Hahahaha ikr
Don't have to subscribe to buzzfeed it's simple Worth It is always on trending anyways might as well look there or it will just get recommended that's my solution
the only thing keeping buzzfeed alive these days
I wish this was its own channel
Honestly the only quality orginal content they have. The rest of their videos are rip offs of other youtubers or just folks running around the buzzfeed office makig their coworkers react to boring trivial things.
These are the only videos I watch from this channel. I don't know what the others are about, I just watched one of "Worth it", then another, and never stopped.
Basically every series with Andrew are the only ones I watch
Unsolved is also really good.
Watching this in quarantine makes me smile especially the kichi kichi guy
You can watch Andrew on a different video learning how to cook it from Kichi Kichi chef himself. It doesn't look easy!
@@Gungho73 oh yeah I watched that before!
Me about to be in 2021

1:27 the voice the glasses the mustache, This is Japanese Stan Lee!
@@jonpaul6948 I believe the racist one here is you,to say all japanese people are racist. Of course there might be some people who are racist but its the same in every country
@@jonpaul6948 imagine being upset because someone said Japanese people are amazing lol

@@jonpaul6948 WoW jon......way to bring down the mood....so you feel that when you come to Japan? or you just reading from some book or something? We cant really know what people feel in their hearts but I feel totally comfortable living in Japan.
Kichi Kichi would be a hell of a place to visit while drunk
nah not really
Drunk you seeing this one chef just flipping rice without spilling it would be one hell of a memory
The chef would probably drink with you
That guy literally gave his child an egg after 5 years
I love this guy he’s so vivacious and skilled. Definitely want him back. Also please show him how many views this video got.
the chefs all were innocent happy old sweet Japanese men
HOW COULD YOU CHOSE
Fantastically Lame better to just pick all of em
They’re not in merica 😂
You can't buy the kind of heart and energy Motokichi-san puts into his dishes.
You're a nice singer ^.^
If I'm ever feeling down I'm just gonna come back and watch the Kichi Kichi guy
Rachel Koemi if you need more of his positivity he has a yt channel called motokchi
