So glad to see you back posting Josh….certainly worth the wait as once again an excellent production. What a lovely location you were fishing. The “popper” you found is what us “Victorians” call a surf popper and is usually tied on the the surf rigs as part of the terminal tackle. I have an extensive collection of both hard bodies and plastics yet tend to only use a small collection of those which have proven to be the fish takers. I really admire your eagerness to try such a vast selection of lures and your knowledge of the techniques to use to get the optimum result . Keep up the good work Josh and “welcome back”.

Love you vids mate, I am a beginner at lures so its great to see the rod action for specific lures but would be also helpful if you also show each lure's action underwater that corresponds to the rod action

Just discovered yr channel today and really enjoy the content. Like me you go land based, and this is great to see as a lot of guys I follow do the boat thing, at end of the day doesn’t correspond to my brand of fishing. I’ve got some new tackle like my Atomic Arrowz Bream Crank rod and a new Daiwa monocoque T.D.Black reel which shall we say a bit of an upgrade. Anyway I see the goods in yr fishing and keep it up and I reckon in a couple yrs you will be fishing the A.B.T even if you haven’t already as a Non Boater!

Great video champion, I finally landed a Bream over 40 cm , it's was 40,5 cm, new PB, caught on a pro lure clone prawn 62 mm, in the jelly prawn colour, on a Zman finesse weighted weedless hook, pulled the fish out of a stick pile caught on a bridge pylon after the floods, was raining heavily so stopped under the bridge, and got it first cast, watching your videos has definitely helped, so great work champion,

Just slow everything down. Pause the plastics for longer. And opt for lures with a rattle and or good vibration👍

Nice to see you out catching again also what do you prefer to chase? Bream or flathead for me easily Bream I just love the way you target em and they fight recently picked one up on a DC95 of all things!
Yeah I had a mate a while back get a 35cm bream on a 95DC. Pretty gain to be going after a fish of that size haha. And yeah I prefer the hunt and fight on the breamz. But I also love fighting big flatty. They are something else
@@joshdfishing Yeah the run on a big flatty on light gear is certainly something there’s just no stopping them and it certainly gets your heart going but yeah idk what it is about the breambo’s just love em haha

I can’t do a beach Jew vid unless it’s at night as people around here get really up ya about spots. Still yet to catch a Jew but if I ever do a vid on one it will be at night

I was interested in your comments about the line breaking and it being due to the rod.
I’ve got a relatively new Shimano T Curve with a good reel spooled with 6kg braid. The braid has snapped 3 times now - losing good lures. I was just about to re-spool with different braid, but am now wondering if it’s the braid or the rod?
How could it be due to the rod?
@@Eddie-ng4zu Its the line, all high and medium end Shimano gear is first rate with blank selection runners and runner spacing. Dig deep and buy Gosen W Hard type 8 ply Casting Braid it's the best braid out their period, compare diameters to other lines.

Dark water means go a dark lure. Camo or motor oil in bait junkie or Zman goes really well in the dirt water

Can you give the savage gear 4play v2 swim and jerk a crack it looks like a herring I’ve only tested to see how it goes the colour is the same as a normal herring with a sort of clear tail I recon it’d be cool to see you snag a flatty with it

Josh I'd like to give you a suggestion for a challenge? I'll challenge you to a bait vs lure but there's a catch you have to come up to Queensland to Brisbane you can any amount you lures and I'll use live bait
If you kept on walking around that second point where you did no good there is a new jetty with a lot of fish off it
