I use an Ace an K nail gun as the safety is the nose where the nail comes out so even more accurate. Not the cheapest but takes frame making to the next level....if that's possible.
Great video, thanks for sharing. I use plastic foundation, but always wanted to try the wax foundation to see how quick the bees take to it. Have a blessed day.
They are very handy, we still owe you a prize for spotting that queen. If you drop us an email we can sort something out for you. Pureyorkshirehoney@gmail.com

Nice one, I moved to a nail gun as I was sick of whacking my thumb with the hammer.
Hope to see more videos from you this year compared to last.
Thank you, I’ve done a bit of filming today and I want to put some more content out this year. Let me know what sort of things you would like to see.
@pureyorkshirehoney anything bee related really, swarm control, splits, queen intro, varroa control
Are they special nails for the nail gun and do they cost more? I am using gimp pins that generally get supplied with some frames
They’re called Brad nails, I got 5000, which is a box, for £10.99. Which would do 454 frames which will cost £0.024 per frame
@@pureyorkshirehoney Quite cheap then. Thanks!

What size of the Brad nails do you use?
I use a ryobi nail gun it’s the same as the air one but battery

It's interesting that you dont use glue before nailing. Hmmm.
No never glue frames only boxes, roofs and floors I glue and nail
Yeh I cant see any benefit in gluing frames.
why use hoffman super frames they are a b====== to extract honey from
Yes, very good point. I got these ages ago in a sale because they were cheap
