@@-twizzlerz-1092 From a sheet music perspective the strumming is mostly on the upbeat, but technically Yorke is playing those upbeats with a down motion on the guitar. As someone who is primarily a horn player, that breaks my brain too much, so I reverse the direction when I'm playing. The fact that the majority of the strumming is upbeat dependent also breaks things enough in my brain that I can't even try to sing this at the same time as playing.
Meme culture can be odd, but the attention that it is bought to the masterpiece that is exit music in the past month is beautiful. So good to see this spectacle of a song get attention, especially through beautiful covers like this one.
