Manhattan has horrible access issues. Prints are bad. Nodes get walked out and then have to be rewalked. Buildings don't allow us in at certain times. Can't work weekends. It's a cluster f@@MPEGCommunications
@dropcity This is what some people on forums predicted about the high split process in NYC. It's a huge, difficult city. Any idea when the work starts Uptown? Washington Heights/Inwood area?
So, what is that component that needs changed out? Our coax is all underground in our development. A few months ago I seen a worker opening every pedestal (serves 2 homes) and doing a visual, noting something on a tablet, and going to the next ped....repeat. I'm assuming those are taps he was checking out?
Ah, love it when self-appointed experts drop by! 😄 For the record, everything in the video is OSHA and NCTA compliant. Companies often have their own guidelines, so maybe what's policy at one place is a head-scratcher somewhere else. But hey, it's always nice to have someone offer their unique perspective, even if it's a little off the mark. Appreciate the laughs-keep 'em coming! 😉
coming to my area soon, going to be a disaster. not as much of a disaster as this guys safety violations, but a disaster all the same
We're doing this in New York City and so far it's a complete disaster
