  • Simple Past:
*Action happened at a specific time in the past.
    *Finished and done with.
*Often uses time expressions like "yesterday," "last week," "in 2022."
    Examples:
*I ate pizza yesterday (action happened and finished yesterday).
*She visited Paris last year (action happened and finished last year).
    Present Perfect:
*Action started in the past but might still be happening, or has an effect on the present.
*No specific time mentioned (unless talking about how long the action has been happening).
*Often uses "ever," "never," "yet," "already," “since,” "for" + time period.
    Examples:
*Look! Someone has broken the window.
*They haven't arrived yet today. (They might still arrive later today.)
*She has visited Paris many times (action started in the past and has happened multiple times).
