Thanks for watching!
Man you make this look so easy. It fills me with confidence, then I have a go and remember how bloody difficult it is.
Definable having a go at this with the bricks I've just knocked down from my wall. I'll be filling it in with indian stone.
Good job 👏
simple but very effective mate! i always put polystyrene between existing and new steps if filling up with concrete just to keep any damp cold transferal to a minimum.
I love your work Stu, very well done. Your accent is killing too, nice..
SUPER JOB . STU, take care and stay well
Hi Stu just wanted say how much I enjoy your videos very inspirational and it shows how focused you are if just a few had this devotion to there work, great stuff will be watching a bit more, keep it up mate.
Cheers buddy
Maybe I’m overly critical but I think the older, two brick high metal vents (shown here) are better looking than the contemporary red plastic ones. Beautiful work as always! 👍👍👍
Congratulations felicidades eres muy bueno
Good job.... some thing to add you can save energy and volume of concrete if u fill it with bricks instead of this much concrete and at last few inches of concrete is sufficient before last brick laying on the top...
Can't believe how much plaz you put in that mix.
Nice step keep it up.
Was thinking the same,I use a third of that and my mixes are fine
Yeah you only need about 15 ml every day is a school day
Muchas felicidades, excelente trabajo muy bien hecho, Un mágico saludo maestro
Me agrada ..muy bien echo.... campeón!!
Also just wanted say love the music.
Brilliant work stu 👍🏻👍🏻
Fantastic video stu.keep up the great work pal 😁👍
Great video stu. Really like the smaller videos projects you do like this step. Especially when you use reclaimed or leftover materials. The driveway you did was good too. Keep them coming👍
I agree 100 %
awesome stu
Das hast du sehr schön gemacht. Herzlichen Dank für deine Arbeit! Gruß aus Berlin/Germany
Looks a boss job that mate well in !
Looks good. Awesome job as allways.
Stu I spent a summer after three years in the army being a hod carrier. Love watching you work!
What is a hod carrier?
@@thejman8734 the guy that mixes and moves the mortar, stacks the bricks, sets up the scaffolding, and pushes the broom.
so simple so good , once again well done Stu .
Loved it 👌
thanks, Im going to do bricks like that for garden edging.
Parabéns , ficou jóia, Brasil, um abração.

outstanding as always, next time some rocks in the concrete xD
I was already missing you, friend!
Sen öylesin dostum.eline çok yakışıyor.sanatını takdir edıyorum..
İzlemene minnettarım
Good one and nice plasterciser!
Смотрю ваши видео просто супер, удачи, будь здоров.
Lovely little project Stu
It looks fabulous!! Well jel
While I love these videos, I have 2 concerns.
1. Is it ok to cover 1/2 an air brick.
2. Concerned that if the step is level 5he house is wonky. Look at the air brick holes.
Ref 1: Not really. You are supposed to leave at least 75mm from ground to air brick (assuming wooden suspended floor). That’s typically one brick height. So not good practice really.
you are awesome
Great work.... well done...
Looks great Stu 👍
Great video
Încetează ca ne apucam de zidit si noi :-)) Lucrezi foarte bine.
Felicitari
I like the cabro laid on wet concrete. Its durable and hard to vandalize.
Congratulations, you are the best!
Nice job Stu 👍
You weren’t bothered about closing the air bricks off, why was that?
Also, loving the concentrate plasticiser, so much better than the standard stuff I’d always used before. And the muck seems to stay workable for a lot longer with it too.
Good job 👍
Me encantan tus vídeos eres un maestro . Un saludo desde españa
Hi Stu. Only use half that amount of mortar mix in that. That stuffs really strong. Love your videos 👍🏼
Lovely job mate
Im egyptian..... I love gop uk.... Thanks brother
Enjoyed that stu,, Thanks🏴👍
Good Job!
Awesome job as always. 👌👌🙂
Beautiful job!
The off-centre door position (and therefore the off-centre step) would annoy the shit out of me every time I saw it. ;) Apart from that, nice job. :)
Looks nice but what about the air bricks? They are covered and water can run in them.
So nice work
My brother how are you wery good the work i from tadjikisan
What mix did you fill the cavity with, looks like you dropped in two different mixes? Great work
Excellent mate
“Just like furry liquid” I love northerners haha
All right that stu. Decent job again👍.
Would of looked better if I could of pointed it 👍
Another great job. Your kind of like me. I work alone to get it done right 👍
💪 அருமை
Nice!
What will happen to the ventilation bricks ? Will water sip through ? Should you block everything ?
Could you show your technique for mortaring the soldier before laying please? I am struggling with that currently. Love your videos. Brilliant! Thank you
Isnt it borin? Looks hella borin this job
Skills.
شكرا لك انته مبدع وفنان
how have you vented the floor space now the vents are covered
They're not fully covered ?

In my labouring days if the mixer looked like that I'd get shot
Lovely job, steps are usually a good way of getting rid of bits of broken slabs/bricks to save on the amount of concrete!
Sehr gut
Your last step video was good this one even better. Feel I bit inspired to pick my trowel back up when I watch your videos lol!! 😂 well done by the way
Hola saludo desde puerto rico
Looks awesome! When building against an existing wall, is there any consideration for the existing DPC? Should you use a barrier between old/new or does it not matter? Presume that because half the vents are still uncovered that’s ok too? Cheers 👍👍
Nice one
Have really missed your videos
That one dark brick should be on the back side..Other than that I love it.
Should have protected that door from splatter!
beautiful brick work, this is the way should be done, back in states, I see they shovel lots of garbage dirt or rock to fill the void inside bricks. learn something today, the concrete you pull inside the brick, is there a specific cement sand and aggregate ratio ? thanks
weep vents
@@Stucrompton1 thanks for the name, this weep vent I don't see it installed in the United States, at least not in my area(New York), is it necessary, or it depends on the region ?
@@stevengao8345 We used them to avoid water freezing inside bricks and mortar so they dont crack or blowout, each country has their own way to drain structures
Top job 👌👍👌
you did it well, I assume that the owner wanted it, but it would be better and more practical in this case a simple step from wall to wall;)
Best Bricky boots mate? Food for thought ...👍
Definitely pb 💪
Tudo lindo!
Sen mukemmel bi adamsınnn.😊
kimse mükemmel değildir :)
Me gusto mucho tu trabajo
Buen video
Quality as always mate

Desde neza .México good jab men.

True Mason gj
If you didn’t want wedged joints how would you go about marking and cutting them for an even joint
Lovely job....is it ok to cover part of the air bricks
no-create possible damp
Бетономешалка супер
