I would love to shop here for in season produce and preserve it for my pantry! ❤ Amazing prices! Not sure how prices are your way but I’d have the apps for the other stores I shop and compare prices!
My family loves the restaurant supply store! It's about 45 min away, so we only go a couple times a year, usually around Christmas. We've been known to buy bulk items as Christmas gifts for friends and family. Beans, rice, popcorn, and huge boxes of ice cream cones are a few items we've given out. 😉
Just watched .The Hellman's chipotle sauce is awesome.... FYI. I mix it with sour cream to make a French fry sauce. Also, the Krusteaz brand is very good.
I don't have a Chef's store in my part of Florida. I do have a Gordan's Food Service store. It has been a long time since I have been there. I make pizza every week from scratch. I have a 17-inch pizza pan that I roll out the dough on. I bought bulk yeast for a fraction of the cost you pay for the small packs or jars from Sam's Club. I keep it in the freezer then when my jar is empty, I fill it back up from the freezer. I keep the jar in the fridge. I buy bulk sausage and fry it up with onions, peppers and celery when I make pizza. I use some of it on the pizza but put the rest in the freezer for a future pizza. I also buy pepperonis on sale and keep in the freezer for when I make pizza. The sauce is just regular spaghetti sauce that comes in a jar that I can reuse as a canning jar. I carry a measuring tape in my purse because I fabric shop. I use that tape to measure the top of the jar. If the top of the jar measures 70 mm, then it can be used with regular canning flats and rings. My favorite tomato sauce jar is from Aldi's because it is a pint and a half size. You can't buy that size any more in canning jars. It is a Mason jar that has measurements up the side. I can get 3 pizzas from one jar. After I open it up, I just eyeball the measurements on the side to divide up the sauce into 3rds. One third goes on the pizza and the other thirds goes into baggies for the freezer. I shred my own cheese. I have never figured out what I am saving but I know it is cheaper than buying a 17-inch supreme take and bake pizza. I use herbs and seasonings to my taste which makes it good. On top of that I get canning jars.
We have a similar store where I live (Ohio) called GFS- Gordon Food Supply. They have most of the same items as you showed. Some things are a good deal, others, not so much. It’s evolved over time to meet the needs of the public, with offering a greater variety of options you don’t have to buy in bulk. For instance, they have bulk canned or frozen pre-seasoned, ready to eat taco meat. I’m a single person household. Of course I could buy the canned and break it down for freezing, but now they carry it in 1 lb. Rolls, like sausage. It’s $1.79, which is way more affordable and cost effective. Produce tends to cheaper too. You have to kno😂w your products. One thing I always buy there is their take and bake seasonal cut out sugar cookies. They’re delicious, and a thicker cut, softer cookie, which is what I like. Don’t know the price off the top of my head, but I believe there are 6 dozen in a box. I like to keep them in the freezer, and take out a few at a time for a sweet treat. I always bought them at Christmas time and had all the nieces and nephews over for a cookie decorating party.
Thanks for the tour of this store. I've been meaning to stop each time I drive up Brooks Street. And they seem to have some gluten-free items. I'm thinking about picking up some #10 cans of fruit and canning in smaller quantities.
We have a store similar to this in Billings called Shamrock Foodservice Warehouse and I. LOVE. IT. We always pick up syrups for our coffee and Italian soda's because they are so much cheaper than at the regular grocery store. We also get the big jugs of the condiments that we use a lot (such as BBQ sauce). I have quite a few of the commercial prep and storage containers on my wishlist too!
I absolutely LOVE Chef’Store (formerly Cash & Carry Foodservice), I’ve got one about 15 min from me, and I have so much fun wandering around the aisles searching for hidden gems. I started shopping there prob 20 yrs ago, originally for Torani coffee syrups before reg grocery stores starting carrying them, so I could make my late hubby his fancy espresso drinks at home before work every day, but then going all kinds of fun things there 💜
Your spirit is so sweet to everything I would have been mad the store was closed lol but you was like ok I’ll go another time makes me reevaluate how I should look at things that usually frustrate me
That’s a great store. Not one around my area. Some good prices. Thanks for making another video. I was worried if you were okay. Just love hearing you talk sometimes. You stay calm and even, which makes me calm. Thanks for your help and continue with your great food pantry hauls and teaching me such great cooking skills. Love 💕 and Hugs. ❤❤❤
I like your shirt!! I agree Mayo is superior to miracle whip! So many tasty things! I would have got the big can of pumpkin! We put it on my dogs food to help with digestion it’s expensive!
I want this store in my area. Great deals! Just watched a TikTok video where you can turn baby tomatoes into sun dried tomatoes by baking them! Looked amazing
As you were going through this store, I was doing quick brain math and figuring out how much everything was per pound. Some of the things were at a good price for sure. Looking at the big batches of mayo, I used to make a huge trash can size of mayo for a place I worked at. It was interesting to make it on a grand scale like that. The yokes went to the bakery we had on sight.
What a amazing store 😃😃 , I wish we had a store like this. I live at the north end of Vancouver Island in British Columbia Canada.our prices are soooo much higher 😡.
Ive never used enchilada sauce on my enchiladas. We live in Northern New Mexico and what I do is make red chile and thats what we’ve always used as the “sauce” for our enchiladas! So good!
I get the box of tray liners, they save so much time from scrubbing. Also a good place to get 1/4 sheet pans. I don't have this particular store. You can find restaurant stores near most larger cities. Don't forget Asian markets, they have good prices too.
Vacuum sealed is the way to go!! Now if the meat people would do it! Then i can put it directly in the freezer with no work on my part!! Then it would be worth it!!
Great store! When I had my little diner I shopped at Robert Orr Sysco in Nashville. My orders weren’t big enough to get a delivery. I loved that store! Very much like your Chef store. I totally get how excited you are! Hope you try the Dollar Tree again. I saw on their window the $1 sign. Our Dollar Tree is now $1.25. Lucky you!!! Have a great day, Carolina 🥰
I think so. It may take time to get them all changed. I have seen the $1 signs in 3 Dollar Tree locations in Nashville in the last 2 weeks. Have not seen the signs at any other locations yet.
Four Pounds of Jared Tomatos for $33.00?? Insanity!! I will continue to Shop at Winco, where the Prices are Still Affordable. This place is Not for "Family Shopping"!!
Poor showing by you!! Next time slow way down and show the price and dont wave the product around!! Tell us how much and what size, SAY IT WITH YOUR VOICE!!
What would you buy at The Chef's Store? Thanks for watching!
If I was feeding a crowd I definitely would shop the meat/cheese room! Saw some bargains.

Excellent buys, especially because you can dehydrate some.

I really enjoyed going through the store with you. I love cooking AND grocery shopping…of which I do about 95%. 🥘♥️

Holy goodness!!! ❤ That place is awesome and huge ❤
It's poke' like café. It goes on tuna to make a poke' bowl. Very popular in Hawaii.
Thank you!
Our chefs store had those big bags of onions for $12.99 & big bags of yellow potatoes for 13.99
I got both 😆

We don't have a Chef's Store in Mississippi, but would buy many things there if they were here.
Yippy Shopping!
The one I went to had the skinny noodles like you get in the cheap blue box of Kraft Mac cheese 🤯🤯 I’ve NEVER seen those sold as just the noodle. 🎉
Funny…. I like bamboo and water chestnuts but capers not so much, lol!
This is very similar to our local Shamrock Foods store.
Another amazing video lovely . Looking forward to sending you your care package all the way from my kitchen to yours ❤ kirsty in Australia xx
