My wife as a Himo too, and i´m looking to upgrade the brakes..
Do you recommend new calipers and rotors ? the originals ones make so much noise and sobre vibrations.

What type of screws did you use it for rear disc with the hub adapter ?
How was it removing the rear wheel to upgrade tyres? Was it hard to disconnect the motor hub cable?
I have Same problem. No connector on back wheel wire. Front wheel easy.
@@garico7464appears you can disconnect the hub but its tricky feeding it through the frame. Because of this I'm just going to work with it cable attached and get a schwalbe marathon plus (anti puncture) tyre upgrade and some tube sealant so I won't likely have to remove it ever again 🤣

How did the x tech brake fit with me it rubs againste the motor making it impossibel to be sitting on there right
How many mm the diameter of disc brake do you use for the bike? I try to upgrade my bike using stock disc brake with the same caliper you used, it works for front wheel, but for the rear wheel the caliper has no clearance with the motor. Thank you for your information.

You need this i think is 44mm but i am not sure take 44 and 48 and check is not expensive.

How you managed to turn off the beeping / buzzing noise that the bike makes when you go faster (above 15km/h I belive)?
On the back is little black box where is the module have 3 screw very easy to take off. Inside is one little speaker just unplug from the module and you are good to go.

@@unboxingreview3492 I imagine the process is very similar to the C26. Can you please confirm the location of the 'black box'. I am not sure what you mean and have not been able locate it. The manual has the electrical schematic diagram and mentions/shows the Overspeed alarm but doesn't indicate where it is on the bike. Thanks for any help.

You can open it but i didn't try but have now on Aliexpress new battery to buy before 2 weeks come out for buying separately

@@unboxingreview3492 good thing about changing the seatpost - you'll be able to adjust the angle of your seat. that was the biggest pain in the butt on my c20 - seatpost, i threw it away and put dahon's one... i'm not that sure if that suntour ncx is long enough, looks like the tube should be at least 50-60cm

@@octave1 25km/h with pedals it can go over 30 buy it is not bike for more then 25 it is 250W motor

I bought the bike, it's pretty good for the price. However, I am still not clear on EU legislations regarding electric bikes. The Himo C20 has no CE markings, or basically anything that is not in Chinese. As far as I understand, any electrical thing needs at least a CE marking, that proves it's conformity with EU legislation. I also have a Xiaomi scooter which has a sticker on the bottom with CE markings and all the details in english... Do you know anything about this matter? Thanks
Maybe is the same like with Xiaomi scooter have chinese version and EU version i was having chinese Xiaomi and then i buy after EU version Xiaomi pro. Folding mehanizam was slightly different on EU version maybe have difference for EU with this bike also just need to ask seller.
they care the most about the motor being under 250 wt

so they say... i did add some extra protections, scotched the battery, put putty in controller holes and screws, so far it stood ok a couple of parisian rains. the biggest doubt - contron screen buttons, i'd cover control screen by extra layer of film under a heavier rain
I have 4300km on my c20, rode in the rain like 20-30% of it, and it's still fine

@@bamsugiarto unscrew it, and figure out which one to by on aliexpress. i thing it's doable, but i also think it's useless in a city. on high mod it's fine, 25kmh is ok in a city
