I think the laser drone is one of the 'must use' stratagems for solo players. It allows you to run away from enemies while having the ones tailing you be killed, especially the mini stalkers.
If you don’t kill yourself, are you really playing? Bravo. I learned this yesterday with my wife. Gotta play smart. We all see how starship troopers is. Throwing bodies upon bodies at the objective will not work. Picking your battles is the biggest advice I could give to newer players.
The issue with the laser drone is that if it starts shooting something that's to your rear left, it'll hit you straight in the face. Happened to me just today, got killed by my own drone. So you gotta be careful what direction you look at, because the drone always moves to your front right and does not care at all if you're in the way when it's shooting. It wont try to shoot around you. The same applies to other players too if you're in a team, don't stand behind other players because the drone might shoot them in the back. Luckily it does pretty low damage so if the beam passes over friendlies they wont take that much damage instantly.

yeah likely cause they're trying to do all the side objectives, get all the samples, letting the timer go down to sub 5. clearly even helldive is relatively easy as long as you are fast and smart

the problem with solo helldive on bugs is that you take a loadout thats good for objective but than you got nothingto help during extraction, unless you have a jetpack and just hide
Im level 17 solo playhing in difficulty 9 now, it's hard before the raigun and the shiel backpack forgot the name. but its definetely possible and its USUALLY not that hard, but when u die once youre fucked to recover everything ( only play agains automatrons, dont know about the insects but I think that its easier probably )
@@Mattys91gt I play with a bunch of lads. Was just trying it solo I managed to unlock hard by myself. Put on light armour killed a titan with orbital beam and a few head shots then ran 😂 then did the one where you have to kill bugs in the small arena which wasn't to bad to be fair
Really hope group play at Helldive difficulty isn’t played like this. Cause this, while fun to watch ONCE, would make for a terrible end game loop experience.

XD I've been using the breaker myself, usually don't like shotguns on games (apart from that double-barrel 725 back on MW2019 @ launch lol)... against bugs this one is great!!! and surprisingly reaches pretty far... that being said I still don't like any of the other shotguns I've managed to unlock... diligence is my favorite, gunplay wise XD still haven't unlocked the counter-sniper variant but looking forward to it... Also think the redeemer is the best side gun, dps wise, I use on semi-auto (big mag, fast reload, high dmg)... I wanted the revolver to be good, alas it lacks punch & take ages to reload (you can shoot b4 fully reloading tho, still not worth it) and I've found out light armor is really the best one, bummer is only available in the superstore (if memory serves me right) and although the eagle 500kg (micro nuke lol) is my favorite stratagem by far, I think they might eventually (tho I hope not) end up nerfing it... game is great tho and I'm now very glad to know you can indeed lvl up past 20!!! having a total(itarian) democratic blast XD cheers

Automatons are easier, if you choose the “kill automatons to reduce their numbers” mission.

I think this game needs mechs suits to battle the giant enemies. Just to add an extra layer of defense

agains nest there is nothing special on helldive difficulty, it's just a good farm (for Bugs world) for XP we using.
they buffed the difficulties this was deff possible with the light armor movement now even extreme is kinda a shit show

I managed 2 missions solo on challenging one where you just have to blow 12 nests up and exterminating the bugs one anything else is bloody difficult

Challenging is impossible solo. I did manage to extract after killing bile titan with my 6 year old daughter though
