The bestとTheをつけてしまうと歴代の全てのロックバンドで一番という意味で語弊がありますが（人によっては傲慢に聞こえてしまう）
注意深く読むとCurrently the best 最近のロックバンドではベスト、とかone of the best bands 最高のバンドの一つだという意味だと思います。

Attention people...women have been in hard rock and metal bands for well over 30 years now. So please spread the word because I see alot of comments saying it was surprising to see women rocking so hard. Why? Have you just not been paying attention? Even when we rescued women from castles of Koopa magic the first time and noone was offended by a damsel in distress...women were rocking hard. It's nothing new. Fantastic song Band Maid and a stellar video! Really fun to watch and listen too! 🤘😺🤘

@@gabrielszarose5640 Kanami is not exclusively the only Guitar Goddess in the world, of course. She is one of the few Guitar Gods and Goddesses. But she is at that level, there can be no doubt in it. It's that Concourse on High which people usually mention. The distinction between those Guitar Gods is not in the level, it's more in colour, so to say.
Kanami.....one of the most complete musicians currently in a band....and for me the beating heart of BAND-MAID.
Akane is the one doing the beating IMHO.
It's a good thing the Japanese, and these girls, don't think the way we do, or there would be no Band-Maid. To them, no one of them is the beating heart of the band. They all are.
@@panorama4526 Miku does, because Kanami is her guitar instructor. i've never heard any of the other members call her that.
Without Kanami, there is no music. I agree pretty much with what you have all said....and I am probably biased. They form a fantastic collective.....Miku somehow rounding up (including herself) a band with stunning skill sets. In some ways Kanami is overshadowed while playing, keeping her modest solos for the song rather than herself, while Saki rules the stage and Akane and MISA rule the rhythm section.....and Miku is.....well Miku...PO! But musically Kanami towers over even her fellow group members.....her output is prodigious and brilliant, as are her arranging skills.....and yes I know the band are all involved in that.....but in interviews (and the recent concert video) they all acknowledge that Kanami is the music maestro....or Sensai, who rules the practice sessions....and is constantly stretching herself and the rest of the band with her composition skills.

Band-Maid are a second tier girls band in Japan. Only the drummer and bassist are trained pros The lead singer is all right but really is a pop singer.
The lead guitarist is passably average.
The other girl is a fake guitarist who can't really play and for the longest time could not play at all. And she can't sing.
Bland-Maid are merely OK but their Western male fans are cringey weeaboos.

アカネほどパワフルかつ疾走感溢れるドラム叩ける女性ドラマー、世界的にもなかなかいないと思う。圧巻でした
「小賢しい小手先のテクでたぶらかさずグルーヴで聴く者の魂を揺さぶる！」そんな叩き方の出来る数少ないドラマーの１人ですね。70年代には当たり前に居たタイプなんですがほとんど絶滅しましたからね…。だから私も含め年寄りから支持されるんだと思います。

@@竜田揚げ-b9g 女性じゃなくて男性ドラマーです。言葉足らずで申し訳ございません。70 80年代のハードロックバンドのライヴはクリック無しが当たり前でしたからグルーヴ重視でリズムが走ろうタメようがカッコ良ければそれが良い！的な感じだったと思います。彼女達はライヴで同期音源を使うのでクリックは必須です。それなのにタメやツッコミを効果的に入れてくるAKANEのプレイは私のような年寄りの琴線に触れるのではないかと思っております。
@@竜田揚げ-b9g 90年代以降は70年代からのハードロック ヘビーメタルバンドもライヴでクリックを使うようになって正確なリズムをキープ出来るようになった反面「ライヴ感」的なものが失くなり熱を感じられなくなったような気がしています。

世界的にロックは死んだとか言われることもあるが、BAND-MAIDがいる限りそんなことにはならない☝️現代ロック界の至宝と言っても過言ではない。ヴォーカル、曲、リズム、歌詞、パフォーマンスのどこをとっても非の打ち所がない✨
国、人種、世代の関係無く受けているのがその証拠だ。
随分前からそれが決まり文句かのように言われているし今でも「日本で本当に良い音楽が評価される時代は終わった」等と通ぶった言葉に浸っている人達もいるけど、勝手に殺さないでくれ終わらせないでくれって感じだよね。BAND-MAIDに関しても色々な事を言う人がいるだろうけど、自分は素直に楽しめるタイプで本当に良かったと思うよ。自分は数年前から音楽全般に関心を失ってしまって音楽を聴いてもつまらないと思っていたのにネットでこのバンドの存在を知って聴いてみたら速攻でドはまりしたという事実だけでも最高のバンドだし、フィクションの世界から飛び出してきたとしか思えないこのバンドの存在は音楽を楽しむという事を思い出させてくれた素敵な存在。
@@Kazuya1008 確かに自分も邦楽洋楽ロック聴き続けてきた中年だけど、ここ十数年無条件で曲にノッてしまうことがなかった。マツコデラックスの番組でガールズバンドの特集をやった後に、何の気無しに見た出演バンド全てをYou Tubeで見てBAND-MAIDだけに触手が動きました。初めてストレイキャッツやブランキージェットシティを聴いた時以上の衝撃と、自分の中のロックが死んでいなかったんだと感じました。中年だろうが後期高齢者だろうがいいものはいい。KANAMIの作る曲は自分の年齢を忘れさせてくれます。彼女達がいつまでBAND-MAIDとして活動してくれるか分かりませんが、名称やスタイルが変わっても、この5人の音楽をずっと聴いていけたらそれだけで幸せだなと思う今日この頃です。

I first started getting into Japanese girl bands like Bridear and Aldious and looked at some 10 best Japanese girl band videos and first heard Band-Maid and that was it. One of the best rock bands I have ever had and have been a big rock band fan since I heard the Beatles in 1964. Heard all the great bands and these girls are right up with the best of all time.

Oh cause the Newest Album has the BEST Sound i ever heard but Conqueror was allready near perfect. This One just has even better Bass and Drum Sound.
