I suppose you could stop and hurl a pine cone at your pursuer, or perhaps a stick - maybe a corncob or potato, depending on your location. There are seashells on the beach; perhaps doing battle beside the ocean would be your best bet. 😉
What evidence is there that medieval knights threw rocks? I know of a medieval edition of Vegetius that mentions throwing & slinging rocks, like the original. I know other medieval & Renaissance soldiers sometimes threw rocks. One 16th-century account says Swiss soldiers threw most everything they could, including bottles, before using their pikes. But I don't know about knights specifically throwing rocks. Knights typically fought as men-at-arms, mounted & wielding a lance. That's not a role that's conducive to throwing rocks. I'm sure they did in certain situations, such as at sieges.
To this day we here in the US are hurling rocks are speeds exceeding 1000 feet per second, and with long guns we are hurling at even greater speeds up to 3000 feet per second resulting in significant ballistic impact.

I really liked the fact that you were from a good distance! Added to the realism.
Nice upload. No bullshit, clean editing, skilled throws. Props!
Saw the title and said ABSOLUTELY! I learned to throw knives and screwdrivers as a little girl. Farm kids are just a different breed I guess. 😊
Yeah that's for sure! In my experience really touugh and beautiful people too! Love from London! 🍻
true but I mostly would throw rocks
I threw ladders.
"First knife, BABY KNIFE!"
Those throws are deadly for sure.
i had an instructor in the corps who once told me why should you disarm yourself and as an old sch nyc blade man i felt that was 100'% spot on
I knew it would be effective, but I was mighty impressed.
We all knew Kbar become more deadly after they break, just assumed it would be to the user.
Man this was a fantastic video. How nobody has done this before (that I've seen) Is kind of surprising.
It’s good to know I should never throw a knife at anybody.
Definitely shouldn't. There is a recent case where some famous blond ttoker threw a kitchen knife on her exbf. The thing stuck in his chest. Bleed to d. She threw from around 6ft and didn't knew any technique, claimed to be innocent. She is in jail. So, don't throw any knife or even scissor/spade/screwdriver to any living thing. But it is a lot of fun to practice
This gives early days youtube vibes and i love it. Nice throws too, takes more practice than youd think.
I worked late & I'm supposed to be asleep right now. This random video was recommended to me before I started dozing off. And now I'm laying down in my bed about to dream about being a ninja.
Men are simple.
Surprised how quickly the Kabar fell apart. Nice knife throwing skills!
Anything that isnt one solid piece will fall apart in throwing
Thats a clone kabar, the gurd is straight on the real kabar its bent a bit.
He said it was a cheap kabar 'style' knife.
7:00 you're that guy bud, you're that guy.
Very nice destructive demonstration, thank you!
wow even the little one would give your opponent a really bad day, but the K bar and the Stinger serious damage . Youre not getting up after a hit from one of those.
thanks for sharing
Impressive command, brother. I’ve never been able to do that particularly well.
just lots of practice
Awesome video man, im adding knife throwing mechanics to my game and did not want to make them either too weak or too strong, this was a perfect reference!
glad I could help. what game is it?
@ItsWhateverKnifeandGun still a work in progress! A medieval survival game! Will be sure to tag you when it releases!
@@LunarBulletDev excellent I'm exited to see it
That's some respectable knife throwing.
0:45 "Put your hand on that wall!"
Why sir?
The enermy can not push a button, if you disable his hand…. Medic.
@@fisherwildrun 😂
why did you quote it 🤦🏾♂️
“Put your hand on that wall!” 0:45 😂😂
Bad ass. Great skill and please don't throw a knife at me.
ha ha I'll think about it
“It touched his skull but it didn’t do any damage “
3:17 bro become a dock for a moment 😂
Duck
Awesome Video Brother, Great job
Thanks that means a lot coming from you.
even that first little knife would have stopped that fight instantly
Unless the other guy was tripping out on some nasty sh*t.
Imagine a collab between itswhatever’s knife throwing skills and the slowmoguys
Imagine someone throws a pocketknife at you but it just bounces off your eyebrow.
You would be rolling in the ground and screaming loud. It's a lot of energy. The pocket knife weights a lot more than kitchen knife. Almost 100J of pure steel hitting in the bone is no joke
That Soap throw to the eye was insane! Great video
dude what, i dont even need to see everything youve done, because that nonchalant knife flip at 3:15 is crazy, you must have been throwing knives for years. what type of knives (for throwing, specifically) are your favorite
thanks! and my favorite throwing knife is the cold steel pro flight mini they are awesome knives for the price
After watching this video I have much renewed respect for the knife especially in the hands of a throwing expert. Many of the demonstrations thrown against the dummy had it been a human victim would have caused damage ranging from superficial possibly causing a bloody mess onto ones face to quiet severe and or death.
If you slow the video down at 7:12 it looks like the knife just glitches inside of the head
Yeah unfortunately for the usmc knife my cameras where getting hot. They started shutting off and glitching I had to stop and put the cameras in the shade
Yeah, noticed the same.
Throwing knives are not to end a fight.
They are to facilitate a charge or an escape. It gives you two seconds no more.
Two seconds is alot
oh it can end a fight but first of all you must be a great knife thrower
@@soulfulfool Hi. Try looking up " killed by thrown knife " and you will see what I mean. It's like getting hit by lightning 3 times...
@@OldBadger1You must be fun at parties.
very true its a last resort
Great guy's video, no bs chatting, just showing the point
0:55 Yeah, that’s a bad day 😮
Just a day because it was his last
8:38 the real story of the taco bell sound effect
heres a sub, goodluck with the channel
Never actually seen anyone throw knives so masterfully
thanks
do you think he'll be ok?
I dont think so
This man NEEDS to hit 50k MINIMUM by the end of the year 🙏 🙏
Absolutely impressive! Great power in those knives when mighty hands throw them....
why does this guy look like the Wish version of Kentucky Ballistics?
Idk maybe the lack of firearms and ballistic dummy labs sponsors.
5:20 'so close'.. lol it's a throat shot.. that's a kill
This reminds me of another video I’ve seen where a young fellow shows how to put a jacket on really fast. Highly recommend.
The man can throw a knife...but throwing your weapon in a fight just gives your opponent a weapon to use on you.
Unless you catch it with your brain 😅😅
PUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA.....🤦🤦🤦🤦
I guess after they put it out of their Heart and die one step later...
@@jamescook2948If you even hit the person
well if you had to throw your knife its assumable that the enemy has a weapon that would have killed you with your knife in hand. you wouldn't throw it at a person who doesn't have a weapon at all.
You have my interest. ❤ Subbed.
I'm a big Cold Steel fan. Let's see what you have in the near future.
In SHTF scenarios you don't need to kill. You need to make them not attack, forget about you. Any serious injury in SHTF is likely to become a kill because of infection and a lack of purpose wound care. An eye shot will certainly do what you need.
Yes its basically stick them and run
It’s actually crazy how accurate you are with those throws
People!!! Be reasonable!!! How many more jelly men have to die for your entertainment???
A lot more
