This one, is the last 380, I don’t have. Finally got back onto the range, after Covid, yesterday, with my buddies! Still needed to shoot my other 380s, so tested my Beretta 80, for functional performance! Worked great, like the rest of my 380s, but my arthritis in my shoulders, is taking a lot of the pleasure out of shooting! Good company makes it worth the pain, too be outdoors! Turning 39 years old in October, for the second time! Guarantee you, it’s more fun than shooting in Vietnam, in 1968!

Just bought one, put 400 rounds thru it yesterday. It was flawless with almost no recoil. It ejected spent cases with the authority of my 9mm/P365. 7 different loads thru it yesterday, ball and JHP. Terrific handgun. I have total confidence in it with the bonus of 12 round mags. Plus its very accurate. My 9mm/P365 has been equally flawless.
Yeah, the crazy thing is I never was a huge fan of my 9 mm 365 but for some reason or another, I loved this 380 model. In fact it’s the only one that I have kept and I will occasionally carry it. The two biggest selling points for the P365 are the 10-round magazine and the small size. The biggest selling point of the .380 over the 9mm is the reduced recoil. Easier to reacquire the target for the next shot! This is the perfect "purse" gun if I can just get my wife to the range to try it! (Currently, we both have Glock 19s.)

I have the X-macro, the p365 in 9mm, and I have the p365 in 380. I prefer to carry my 380 because my groupings are flawless. With the Underwood Xtreme Penetrators in 380 is just as good as your normal 9mm jhp rounds. The way they make bullets these days is great compared to how they used to make them.
I just bought one and it did nothing but jam at the range. I'm using quality rounds, and all Sig said was I had to send it in and offered no advice. My slide snags when pulling it back but my other two 9mm Sigs are smooth as butter. It's this normal for the 380?

Good video. The biggest problem I see with .380 is no ammo availability in my area and that’s going two hours in either direction. .380 has been dried up in my area for over 2 years now. 9mm on the other hand is widely available and has a cheaper cost per round.
Yeah it was that way here as well but we are starting to see it on the shelves now. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks again
380 ammo seems to be 50% more than 9mm. So if 5 boxes 250 rounds of 9mm run me $100 then in 380 it'll be $150... That can hurt the pocket in the long run :)
Thanks for the video. I was a little confused because you said you were not as accurate with this one because you like big rounds but earlier in the video you said you were having trouble with the 9 mm so you got the 380. I was also confused with the title. Going into the video I thought you were going to reveal a deficiency but it turned out to be the opposite. Seems like you liked it. Regardless, it seems like the 380 performed well.
I typically don’t shot well/accurately when the pistol is chambered in .380 no matter the gun. Having what seems to be the same issue with my P365 380. Loose spring and will not fire after first round. Jams all the time. Sig said I needed to send a video and pictures as proof of my issues. From what I’ve read online about this new pistol is not to get it until they workout the issues. To bad Sig Sauer didn’t do a good job on QC.
To date we haven’t had an issue and I haven’t heard of major problems with them. Let us know how it goes. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I agree with you on this one. Give them time to work out the bugs, kinks, issues. Remember, they had to change recoil spring s and the slide for the.380. Good.380 defense is very effective for CCW. The down side is that target ammo can cost more for.380. I guess it pays to reload.
I've heard reports of major barrel fouling to the point the rifling is buried with lead in a Sig P363 380.. Did you check the barrel to see if it was leaded after all that shooting?
No sir it’s just that at one point there was some bad press surrounding the gun and we was trying to get people to click and see that we had no issue with ours. Thanks for watching and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

@@sevse23I subscribed today because you said you wouldn’t. The title isn’t click bait. He’s letting us know don’t buy the gun until you watch his review so you don’t waste your money buying something you regret. I guess if your brain was bigger than a penny then you would’ve understand what his title meant.
it can't really compete as a pocket gun with the lcp max, but its perfect for a female conceal carry who wants a red dot. I think it is more of a replacement for the g42.
@paulcarlin5181 I daily carry mine and in the summer will often carry it in my pocket. It can be heavy for sure. I upgraded my carry belt to something more durable so it feels less bulky but it’s still a girthy gun to say the least
What do you mean by misfire? What type of malfunction? Stove pipe, failure to eject, fail to feed, failure to go back fully into battery or light primer strike?
Well if I had to put into a % of why that happens 75/25 the ammo being 75. I’ve only ever had 2 guns in my life that really had that issue and it was the gun. The G44 and the Taurus TH-9. Try different ammo
Guys I don't know if you have experience with a 380 EZ if so how's it stack up (no pun intended) against that I have left Cerebral Palsy and absolutely love my EZ but I'd like more rounds in my CC firearm would a TLR-1 HL fit on the rail for it if it comparable to it I think I'll make the switch
We don’t personally have the experience with the 380 Verizon but have owned and review the 9mm. An awesome pistol! If it’s of similar size I would say the EZ is a lot larger of a gun and because of that I prefer the Sig as my daily
No, TLR-1 won't fit this. It will fit a TLR-7sub or a TLR-6 if you're desperate. I would say I prefer this to the EZ as far as shooting goes, plus it's smaller for CC. Both guns are fine, though.
Good shootin fellas, enjoyed your review:-) I have the p365 9mm, my EDC. My question, if it’s similar in size, other then less recoil, fun to shoot, for EDC , why would one go 380 vs 9mm? Thanks Guys 🇺🇸🙏🏻🇺🇸
I’ve had folks say it’s because they are able to be more accurate because of the less recoil, more fun to shoot and a lot of women prefer .380. However I see why one would be curious about that. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks agains
I'll add (though not specifically applicable to the US) there are places where people are allowed to have handguns but not allowed to have "military calibers" so 9mm is off the table. Enter the .380
Has anybody had a problem with the 12 round magazine in advertently disconnecting and dropping? It doesn’t happen on the 10 round magazine in my .380 but it does with the 12 round magazine.
We haven’t had that issue but I know with the longer mag you’ll grip it differently possibly higher and tighter are you sure you aren’t Inadvertently dropping it? Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
@@GSquaredTactical Thank you. It’s not dropping out when I’m gripping and firing the pistol. It’s disconnecting when it’s laying inside of a folio that I use sometimes to carry. However, here’s an update. I put Talon tactical grips on. That seems to have increased the rigidity of the composite pistol grip and the disconnect of the magazine doesn’t seem to be happening now. So I don’t think it’s with the disconnect spring, I think there’s something about the pliability of the composite pistol grip when laying down flat in a folio type of device. This did not happen when carried in a holster.
@@GSquaredTactical The Talon grip that I added seems to have solved the problem, makes the composite pistol grip less pliable and doesn’t seem to be engaging the magazine disconnect.
Why choose the 365 in 380 caliber when one could pick the better 9mm variant? Doesn’t make any sense. Also, the Glock 42 or 43 is a minimalist weapon. Plus, Glocks seem to work when you need them and better than Sig.
Yeah because sig actually made what they ask for and Glock made another Glock and the price was lower on the Sig by a lot. Sorry to disappoint. I’m on the other end of that spectrum myself. I mean you either liked the content or you didn’t. You didn’t have to watch it. Well its certainly a niche market, but if you consider some people do not necessarily invite recoil. Some women like to shoot 380 due to its lesser recoil. Some men do as well. Its not a preference of some but it is for others. Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven't already

It kills me that people get so tore up about a title. I mean honestly it’s like they want to find something where the gun has failed and itching to watch it. I mean if you own the gun you should be glad it performed well and at days end was you watching to see how it shot and our thoughts or hoping for some failure. The title doesn’t suggest that it failed just watch before you buy. 🤦♂️
@@GSquaredTactical I've owned 2 early P365s and had issues with both almost immediately. Haven't had a lot of rounds through the XL yet. Probably about 200ish but no issues yet.
I do like shooting my XL but shoot my Standard slide on the XL grip nearly as well and prefer the shorter slide for appendix carry. .380 might be a better choice for weaker people.

Sig sucks. Their QC is horrible. It’s not the same company as “Sig Sauer Made in West Germany G.m.b.H.” of yesteryear.
It was not. In fact I made mention of how good it looked after all of that shooting
That sounds like a poor quality/dirty ammunition issue.
Kermeous that could be. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks again
I believe you are thinking of the Sig P322. This gun has some reports of bad barrel fouling. I have never heard of any fouling problems with the 380.
Who has lead 380....380 is a jacketed projectile
Was there something you were going to warn us about? I must have missed it.
No sir it’s just that at one point there was some bad press surrounding the gun and we was trying to get people to click and see that we had no issue with ours. Thanks for watching and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Mine has the same snaggy feel when manipulating the slide
Yeah I don’t know what that is. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Any problems feeding hollowpoints? Mine hangs up on the feed ramp every 3 or 4 rounds and tapping the slide doesnt work i have to rack the slide to clear it
No sir we put 100 hollow points through it that day not a single issue. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already. Sounds like you may have a bur

@@GSquaredTactical I for one, won't subscribe. Because of the click bait. Sorry.
That’s your right sir
@@sevse23I subscribed today because you said you wouldn’t. The title isn’t click bait. I guess if your brain was bigger than a penny then you would’ve understand what his title meant.
@TheRealTeflonRon people will be people nothing we can do about it. Thanks for watching and supporting by subscribing
I think it’s more in competition with the new Ruger LCP Max .380, not the Glock 42
Maybe! Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks again
it can't really compete as a pocket gun with the lcp max, but its perfect for a female conceal carry who wants a red dot. I think it is more of a replacement for the g42.
That’s a great argument for sure.
@@gnostic-wolf But you can pocket carry a Glock 42 with no problem.
@@pewpewTN I'm sure you can carry lots in your pocket and still be happy to see me 😋
Hey G Squared tactical, have y’all fired GX4?
Yes no issues
I have one and though a solid choice, it is heavy in the pocket.
@paulcarlin5181 I daily carry mine and in the summer will often carry it in my pocket. It can be heavy for sure. I upgraded my carry belt to something more durable so it feels less bulky but it’s still a girthy gun to say the least
My new p365-380, I just put 200 rounds through it, 5 misfires and the manual safety does not go to safety all the time. Is that normal for a new gun?
What do you mean by misfire? What type of malfunction? Stove pipe, failure to eject, fail to feed, failure to go back fully into battery or light primer strike?
not sure, i would say a light primer strike.
So it ejected the spent casing, chambered another round, you pulled the trigger, it dropped and noting is that correct?
@@GSquaredTactical yes that is correct.
Good video.
Thank you sir please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Enter the .380
That’s very true as well. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already.
You pretty much answered your own question.
I have both. I now carry the 380 as my edc with Underwood Xtreme Penetrators. The grouping on multiple targets have been flawless
Good grief that’s weird but hopefully it’s fixed for you. Certainly makes it hard to trust
@@GSquaredTactical The Talon grip that I added seems to have solved the problem, makes the composite pistol grip less pliable and doesn’t seem to be engaging the magazine disconnect.
Would like to see Glock make a 42x.
Lol don’t know if that’ll happen.
Where do people find such nice land to practice? Do they own it?

Not sure why the title has STOP in it.
Sorry

Couldn't hit with the SS 365 9mm was Operator Error
Yeah it’s not a gun for everybody, but hey that’s why there are so many different brands/models in the market
Why choose the 365 in 380 caliber when one could pick the better 9mm variant? Doesn’t make any sense. Also, the Glock 42 or 43 is a minimalist weapon. Plus, Glocks seem to work when you need them and better than Sig.
I guess it depends on experience. Plenty have testimonials of good experience with sig
The US military believes in SIG for some reason …not glocks
Yeah because sig actually made what they ask for and Glock made another Glock and the price was lower on the Sig by a lot. Sig and their rubber mallet blows to the slide making it go BANG
Sig Holstered weapons going BANG

Sig’s quality control just sucks b@lls.
Agreed
Only problem 380 ammo is not cheap compared to 9mm

@PanochaPeluda-lo1wg Ty sir
Decent video. Click bait title is for kids. My kids watch stupid videos with click bait nonsense titles. If you want to be a "professional" TH-cam gun reviewer, I would suggest not yanking people around with stupid click bait titles. The gun community adores professionalism and no nonsense, but click bait titles are anything but professional. I wont be subscribing unless I see an improvement in the channel.
Sorry to disappoint. I’m on the other end of that spectrum myself. I mean you either liked the content or you didn’t. You didn’t have to watch it. I mean did you watch it hoping there would be something wrong with the gun? Advertisers do anything they can to get people to buy their product and no one seems to care will even sing the jingles. It’s not as if I lied about anything in the title. Again sorry to disappoint
Why would you want a 380 same size as a 9mm
Well its certainly a niche market, but if you consider some people do not necessarily invite recoil. Some women like to shoot 380 due to its lesser recoil. Some men do as well. Its not a preference of some but it is for others. Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven't already
I have both and the 380 is very pinpoint accurate. My 9 is snappy and with the 380 your groupings are flawless
@TheRealTeflonRon I felt more in control when shooting the 380, I can definitely say I appreciated that and was able to focus more on shot placement because of it
@TheRealTeflonRon he sir
It’s was this or the Glock 42 but I got the Glock 😅
Those are 2 good options to have and Glock is a fine firearm. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks again
The G42 is much more trustworthy. I’ve owned three P365’s and one P938 and all had issues and had to go back to SIG for service. No more SIG’s for me.
I understand that
And…, I owned an German made P226 back in the 80’s, that was amazing. Sad to see where SIG has gone, quality-wise.
I do actually agree with that
You should have bought a Ruger LCP max, because it beats the p365 .380 in every single category... weight, size and accuracy and for almost half the cost... WTF... Sig you think paying for a name is really worth that much... Nope....!!!
Not sure I completely agree but hey that’s what makes it fun as everyone likes something different. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks again
the lcp max is the best pocket gun, but if you got a girl that wants a red dot and thinks 9 is too snappy, this is exactly what I've been looking for.
@@gnostic-wolf Yea... it is a pocket class gun, and yes I carry it as a BACKUP gun to my carry gun a SpringField Armory XDS .45acp because 9mm is what I consider to be a Woman's class carry gun, because men, real men carry .40 and .45 because the recoil is not even a factor... :)
I sold every gun I had in .40. I EDC in winter and church on Sunday a Glock 36 with extra mag. In vehicle durning the day is a CZ po7 without light, at night a Sig Sauer 1911 10mm with 1000 lumen light and a Glock 21 on the night stand. Stop don't watch this video if you are expecting anything other than click bait. Really guys what's with the alarming title?
It kills me that people get so tore up about a title. I mean honestly it’s like they want to find something where the gun has failed and itching to watch it. I mean if you own the gun you should be glad it performed well and at days end was you watching to see how it shot and our thoughts or hoping for some failure. The title doesn’t suggest that it failed just watch before you buy. 🤦♂️
STOP! Buy the 365 XL in 9mm. IMHO a better gun.
We’ve never owned one but have looked a few times. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks again
@@GSquaredTactical I've owned 2 early P365s and had issues with both almost immediately. Haven't had a lot of rounds through the XL yet. Probably about 200ish but no issues yet.
Yeah the first run was garbage I think they even recalled them. However my 365 9mm and this one has never had a single issue
I do like shooting my XL but shoot my Standard slide on the XL grip nearly as well and prefer the shorter slide for appendix carry. .380 might be a better choice for weaker people.
I like this little SIG in 9 mm , and put the Wilson conversion frame with a Holographic would be a nice EDC.
If this TH-cam thing doesn't work out, you can always transfer your skills in stealing time with BS clickbait titles to a promising career in used car sales or Amway.
It’s crazy to me that people will let a title mess with them that bad. I mean honestly why did you click on it?
