Loumand and Claudeleine were happy for HALF a scene GOD PLEASE BRING MY FAMILY BACK TOGETHER CUNTIAGO YOU WILL PAY! Also, the way you see Louis fold on his anger towards Armand after he says Louis asked him to erase the memories and Daniel cannot believe that he got off the hook, similar to when Lestat shared the story of his turning and Louis folded causing Claudia to look at him in disbelief in 1x06. Armand “confessing” his transgressions with a little guilt trip “why do I owe YOU my shame?” a double whammy because it’s still LOUIS interview and poor sweet Armand just joined so his wife isn’t bullied and a snipe at Daniel being Louis fascinating boy…why does Armand, who was hurt in the memories he took by Louis throwing Danny in his face, owe Daniel of all people HIS shame? I love real television y’all Personally, idk why Louis is upset I LOVE being gaslit by Armand de Gorgeous every week. Claudia apologizes to Armand, whether she means it or not but she does it because she’s no longer a third wheel and wants her and Armand to get along as people loved by Louis…she was trying to forge a new dynamic in her family with Louis that now includes Armand and Madeleine and what happened?? A MAN RUINED IT!
I love that the edamame slides off of Rashid's mouth and they used that take even though the actor nearly breaks. Then the BODY SWAPPING comment?? The first 2 minutes held an episode's worth of reveals.
I called it! I said last week that Louis asked Armand to erase his memory of his suicide attempt. That may not have been the only time he has done that either.
im happy this season is about to be over , this show has taken my emotions threw changes , i simply want to see Lestat get his closure , and air out the dirty laundry in the trial , he was abusive but Armand is more manipulative , Lestat was always consistent and honest about who he was .... He never betrayed Louie and Claudia the way Armand did in this episode ....
i love the elaborate side quests you go on to get to the interview teaser. i don't think this show will ever give us a mere quiet end to the end of their episodes. they all tend to leave us in one heightened emotion or another.
Armand finally getting the confirmation of Louis' feelings he's been begging before all season RIGHT BEFORE HE- this show will not allow any of us peace. I'm an Armand apologist but seeing Claudia's little hand ripping out desperately as she gets bagged was very very hard to take. Like, she was finally free. She wasn't a part of their stupid love-quadrangle nonsense. She had the love she wanted for decades, respect, growth, her own independent life. And now she has to get sacrificed so Louis is free to serial kill his way across gay America for another seventy years. Dude.
She did instigate and manipulate Louis into attempting to kill Lestat and killing Antoinette. She also broke laws she agreed to before joining the coven. I do feel bad for her, but in no way is she innocent.
Louis's exploration of Madeleine's past reveals a haunting parallel between her public shaming for alleged Nazi sympathies and the vampires' impending trial for betraying their own kind. Both events unfold under the harsh light of day, symbolizing the vulnerability of the accused and the unforgiving nature of societal judgment. As a human, Madeleine lost everything due to this judgment, leading her to abandon her humanity in hopes of a new beginning as a vampire. Yet, almost instantly, she faces the same harsh judgment by association.
My only prediction is this: They will revisit S1 Ep5 bc Louis and Claudia will use it as an alabi for their actions in unaliving Lestat. Their story will be that it was bc, they felt threatened and saw it as self-defence. However, Lestat's version will be drastically different where his story will show Louis being the aggressor and Lestat trying hard to restrain himself. Since we all know the verdict, it's clear who the (biased) jury will believe.
Louis cannot be the aggressor no matter how Lestat spins it. Lestat has Queen Akasha's blood flowing through him from him feeding on her, he was always physically stronger than Louis. Its not fair. Louis didn't even know that. The jury will probably vote to convict anyway though.
On one end I was happy that Claudia was getting a companion, and they could actually run away together and be happy, then we get that glimpse of Lestat and a show trial. Like was said before by "Dreamstat", and that song about hoping you find happiness, then have it all taken away from you. . . 😱😥😱
I'm torn...a bit about Armand saying that Louis asked - A. Feeling a little Elle Woods-y about burned-to-a-crisp Louis stepping out of a shower 3 days after Daniel unless Arnand helped him heal faster than he was prior or that timeline is still wonkier than it is now. B. Even if he did ask, did he ask to forget the whole argument too or just his trying to walk into the sun??
GOD!! I don’t know!!! And that’s the brilliance of it all!! Because I can understand (albeit still be angry with) whatever outcome is “the truth” because at the end of the day, what’s the truth other than whatever bs we feed ourselves to get through to the end of the day. I’m just here to throw my hands up and enjoy the ride!!
I’m not normally a commenter. However, this episode has me shook and emotional. I like you Autumn LOVE LDPDL with all my heart. But I have found a heart pulling love for Armond. His disloyal betrayal has left me so heart broken. But his remorse makes me love him STILL. I would have forgave him too if I was Louis. Because he has this way about him. But I am so hurt he did that. However, I can understand the position….i guess
Ahh I'm so conflicted! If Louis did maybe ask for his memory to be edited was it Armand was the one who suggested it as a way to move forward in their relationship? Another compromise? But idk bc Louis was so adamant that he would never ask him. What do I really believe...🧐 my mind is telling me to be critical of what I'm seeing lol Regardless, I really hope Daniel keeps pushing bc he really does help Louis remember!
The only sex scenes we have ever been shown are the ones that are between Lestat and Louis, part of me hopes that's intentional to show how much Louis still loves him. The entire story that we are being told is based on what Louis is telling us meaning the reason we saw it the last season was because he described it in detail. While we didn't see every sex scene between the two, no sex has ever been as important for him. His first time with Lestat was but his first time with Armand we never saw.
Roxane is shockingly beautiful. 😮 I did appreciate that we got to see Madeleine's life and especially the mob attack memory. It's a really important part of feminist war history that gets maybe a sentence written in war texts. I loved how we could see how she perceived Claudia before "the vampire bond". That was heartbreakingly beautiful.
She is!! Her scenes this episode were my top moments aside from the ending. I talked about it for like 25 minutes after the episode ended before I realized I wasn’t recording 💀 so that didn’t make it into the video unfortunately
We are really in for now. By the end of the season we the audience are going to be wishing the Armand would erased Paris from our minds 😭 I got to handed to this show, It has done such a great job of adapting the material in a way that not only honors Anne's work but also stands on it's own. Interview with The Vampire is imo a better written book than The Vampire Lestat but not as griping. Louis and Armand were never favorites of mine but in the show I'm fully invested in all the characters. Also the show did a great job of fleshing out Madeleine in a short period of time. I enjoyed her and claudia's relationship and if this was a different type of story I could see them living their immortal life together in domestic bliss. If this show doesn't get a third season I will be devastated. I'm looking forward to see how they are going to take on the rest of The Vampire Chronicles. There are certain characters I never thought I was ever going to see in a live action adaption that I feel this show could pull off successfully. Also special shout out to Ben Daniels who is one of the season's MVP. Casting him for Santiago was an inspired choice. He is giving everything he needs to give and more. Any way, Great reaction! Love the energy and personality you put into your reactions.
I don’t understand why Armand made a deal with the coven, he is powerful enough to freeze the entire coven , why did he let them be taken? And also Lestat is not dead, how can they be put on trial for his murder? Or is it just for Claudia who is too young?
Santiago said it at the end : they're on trial for "making a vampire of a mortal child Claudia", for "turning Madeleine Eparvier into a vampire" by themselves, for killing another vampire Antoinette Brown and trying to commit murder on Lestat.

I've only read this book, I'm going to start reading the next one. As far as I know, even in the book Armand Louis' part isn't significant. Since they're not entirely following the storyline of the books, and also by the spoiler of the next episode, Lestat doesn't seem very happy and will accuse them, but will he also be judged for Claudia's creation being a forbidden law and it seems that he will also have a punishment? The question here, with everything that has happened in the 70 years of this fragile relationship, why are they doing the interview again? Is this the end of the relationship between Louis and Armand as in the book, but in the present day? Will they leave us wondering for a sequel to get into the story of the second book?
I love real television y’all
Personally, idk why Louis is upset I LOVE being gaslit by Armand de Gorgeous every week.
“Armand de Gorgeous” yeah, that’s his new cannon name. You are so right about everything!!
cuntiago is crazy 💀💀💀
agreed!!
Really appreciate the amount of work you put into your videos. Definitely NOT a lazy creator.
Thank you!!! I really do try to put the most effort and thought into what I do and care for the time you guys give me to watch!!
I love that the edamame slides off of Rashid's mouth and they used that take even though the actor nearly breaks. Then the BODY SWAPPING comment?? The first 2 minutes held an episode's worth of reveals.
Also Daniel using his credit card is paper trail in case he disappears
I called it! I said last week that Louis asked Armand to erase his memory of his suicide attempt. That may not have been the only time he has done that either.
im happy this season is about to be over , this show has taken my emotions threw changes , i simply want to see Lestat get his closure , and air out the dirty laundry in the trial , he was abusive but Armand is more manipulative , Lestat was always consistent and honest about who he was .... He never betrayed Louie and Claudia the way Armand did in this episode ....
Ben Daniels in the barrister-style wig is bringing back memories of when I first fell in love with him on 'Law and Order: UK'! 😍😍
Can't wait for Roxanne!
She’s kind of my new best friend, ngl

I was waiting for this! And yeah that love inside Louis is for lestat!! I love all the parallels in this episodes!
This episode broke my heart. I have been an Armand apologist all this time. F*** these vampires!
Loved your reaction to the reveal of Lestat. You did it so gracefully.
I have a gold medal in couch acrobatics
i love the elaborate side quests you go on to get to the interview teaser. i don't think this show will ever give us a mere quiet end to the end of their episodes. they all tend to leave us in one heightened emotion or another.
I gotta match the energy of the insanity these episodes give me with everything I do
I love that you referred to Anne Rice in the present tense. Old broad might have turned into a vampire herself?
Armand finally getting the confirmation of Louis' feelings he's been begging before all season RIGHT BEFORE HE- this show will not allow any of us peace.
I'm an Armand apologist but seeing Claudia's little hand ripping out desperately as she gets bagged was very very hard to take. Like, she was finally free. She wasn't a part of their stupid love-quadrangle nonsense. She had the love she wanted for decades, respect, growth, her own independent life. And now she has to get sacrificed so Louis is free to serial kill his way across gay America for another seventy years. Dude.
It’s the beautiful screwed up tragedy of it all 😭
She did instigate and manipulate Louis into attempting to kill Lestat and killing Antoinette. She also broke laws she agreed to before joining the coven. I do feel bad for her, but in no way is she innocent.
Watched the episode thinking "how big autumn's hair gonna be seeing these scenes?"
LMAO I’ve kept it contained in braids to keep the growth minimal so as not to swallow the whole world in my anguish
I watched it on the big screen. I jumped the couch, too. Lestat is coming. Oomph!
More.. so entertaining! I'll watch again. Better than a video!
[SCREEEEEAAAAAM] ROXANNE!!!!
*to the tune of The Police* ROOOOOOOXANE!!!
Rewatching and my only thought about the apple thing at 26:24 was Assad and the hypnotic apples from his interview. 😂
LMAOOOO he was giving us hints and we didn’t even know it!!
That makes sense!
And somewhere in between - lies the truth…
Louis cannot be the aggressor no matter how Lestat spins it. Lestat has Queen Akasha's blood flowing through him from him feeding on her, he was always physically stronger than Louis. Its not fair. Louis didn't even know that. The jury will probably vote to convict anyway though.
He still didn’t need to drop him from the sky.
Dom Louis floored all of us (in the best of ways), right? 😅😅😅😅
A doll rolling down the hill?! This vid ending was HILARIOUS, chef’s kiss 🤌🏽😂😂😂
On one end I was happy that Claudia was getting a companion, and they could actually run away together and be happy, then we get that glimpse of Lestat and a show trial. Like was said before by "Dreamstat", and that song about hoping you find happiness, then have it all taken away from you. . . 😱😥😱
Like!!! That quote is playing on repeat in my mind!! But also.. can LDPDL ever truly find happiness?? The jury is still out…
Claudia doesn't have a happy ending...destroying Louis.
I can sympathize with Louis' complicated feelings for Claudia
but I cannot tolerate or forgive his treatment of Claudia in the past couple episodes
11:58 hearing Louie say this after the final episode has a WHOLE other meaning to it now🤯
We all know what Armand will do to Claudia, will be blamed on the coven
He’s neatly set all that up. Even the audience thinks he was forced 😂
The fact people keep calling her a you know what is so annoying
YOU ARE ALWAYS ON TOP OF THESE EPISODES. POSTING AS SOON AS THEY COME, I LOVE YOUUUUU
We are really in for now. By the end of the season we the audience are going to be wishing the Armand would erased Paris from our minds 😭
I got to handed to this show, It has done such a great job of adapting the material in a way that not only honors Anne's work but also stands on it's own.
The endinggggg?!?!?!? Omgggg
A literal knockout; sent me flying
@AutumnBottomBrown for some reason I thought you went to Australia and Sam will pop up or something lol
I don’t understand why Armand made a deal with the coven, he is powerful enough to freeze the entire coven , why did he let them be taken? And also Lestat is not dead, how can they be put on trial for his murder? Or is it just for Claudia who is too young?
You’re asking all the right questions!!!!
Santiago said it at the end : they're on trial for "making a vampire of a mortal child Claudia", for "turning Madeleine Eparvier into a vampire" by themselves, for killing another vampire Antoinette Brown and trying to commit murder on Lestat.
Who's Antoinette Brown again?
@@vesbarrow She was Lestat's lover in S1. They faked her death to the world and he turned her into a vampire. She was killed by Claudia

Louis is really pissing you off. But Louis is that f'ed up bad boy that the girls fall for. You and I both know that there's a heart underneath the bad boy. I still love Louis. He would be awful to be in a relationship with. But when he was aggressive and forceful in the best way, we can't help but love him, hoping our love is going to change him. We all have met that man. Exciting Trouble.😊
Louis can test me all he wants; as we saw, at the end of the day I’ll fold like a piece of origami paper for him 😁

- the next episode of iwtv
- your reaction video of said episode
- your interview video following the reaction video
will i EVER be able to chill??? no!!!!
also: i am Worried by the parallels between what louis sees in madeleine's memories: the pleasures of a sly coupling, the joys of a sunny afternoon (obviously not literally, but think about the warm soft light at the café before the ambush 🥲), the anguish of an unexpected death and the rage and humiliation of a trial by mob. like we got to see some version of all of those in this episode, except for the unexpected death. now, there are deaths that we, the audience members, are expecting, but what if there's more? something unexpected? 😭😭 I AM AFRAID!!!!
Yay! Can’t wait to see your interview with Roxane!!!
She’s kind of my new best friend; she’s a GEM
I like your reactions to IWTV. Everything about it is so good, the writing, the acting, the music, and sets. You can't help but get invested in these characters. I know Armand set them up.
Hi all!!! I'm a new sub from Australia ❤ Your reactions to the end of that episode were so funny 😂😂 I was biting my pillow in bed and when Lestat was shown I had a screaming fit which sent all my cats flying 😂😂 Love your channel
Hello Aussie friend 👋👋 I’m happy as always to give my unbridled and unpredictable reactions to deepen the community’s collective insanity
Even if Louis asked Armand to wipe is memory, after what we find out tonight, how did Louis and Armand find themselves together 50 years later? No matter, Lestat is all Louis loves.
The way louis leans away from Armand’s kiss in the cafe… armand I understand you.
Can we just take a moment for the remark that Daniel makes that he prefers The drinks prepared by Armand gee i wonder why that is 🤨 and then the look on Armand’s face is everything afterwards.
Eyebrows UP!! I see you Devil’s Minion (holding out for that to materialize in season three)!!

YESSSSSSSSSS love you girl
This show is of to good start.😊
I had the same reaction to Lestat appearing at the end 😅😅
The blonde bimbo compels me to move in ways I never knew possible
Can u imagine Bailey Bass revealing herself to Madeleine, exactly how Lestat did for Louis?
Maybe I’m just delusional but I do not think Armand is talking about Claudia and the trial when he’s speaking to Daniel about “his one act of cowardice” because let’s be real Armand could care LESS about Claudia and her death was almost certainly due to his machinations. I wonder what it could actually be.
I wasn't really into the idea of posting something like this, but I specially liked your reaction to this season finale cuz... Well, I'm from one the places the flooding hit in Brazil and Interview... was one of the few thins that kept sane while dealing with everything. Louis and Claudia have become so important to me for so many reasons - mostly, because I'm a Black man who, as a kid, heard someone say that Black vampires were something disgusting (regarding A Vampire in Brooklyn). So, I'm really happy to see someone loving this show as much as I do.
Autumn!! I am holiday here in a cutesy place with my friends. And all I could think about was they made my toes curl with THAT scene. . .and it is so shorttttt!!!! NOOOOO!! Gravest of injustices has been committed I tell you. Armand, Armand, Armand. That scene between Armand and Madeleine. . .that deserves to be a short film in it's own right. Each and every microexpression on his and Madeleine's face just broke my heart. I relate to your "I'm weak monologue" at the end. Even when I know my gremlin king is very likely manipulating the shit out of everyone around him, I can't help but supprt my pookie. Armand has me in a chokehold and well Louis can choke me anytime 😅. And Ben Daniels in that leather harness was just top notch.
Also why can't they Claudia just be happy!? Let her be with Madeleine. Please. Just please. The ending scene was just perfection, they are together, laughing and just the perfect moment..and then a knife to the heart! Can't remember where but I saw another fan comment that Dreamstat was right in the beginning, he really did wait till Louis was happiest to snatch it all away 🥺.
P.S - Can't help the rambles. I get way too excited sharing my thoughts 😅
Have fun with your friends!! WHILE YOU CAN (next week will turn it all on its head)

I think one of the actors is playing Lestat. They love to keep us guessing.
No, that's Lestat.

thanks for sharing and being right back the next day, and you have a full time job ?! Wow
Quick question I didn’t see the interview with the actress that plays madeline /Roxanne 😢
Have you posed it yet?
ROXANE OMFGGGGG
OMG I GASPED OUT LOUD when we see Lestat is here for the trial! 😱 Iʻm so excited for this next episode but will probably watch this one a few more times. 😛 For sure Armand is a liar, he is way to manipulating
Not yet...😍💞
It’s going to be a big mess 🫠🤯
“It’s going to be a big mess” oh boy, THE BIGGEST
@@AutumnBottomBrown everything is so twisted and I’m here for it! Also Armand not my favourite before but with Assad giiiiirl “he’s the quiet I’ve been longing for” 🫠
