Enjoyed this video. I have a 2015 SI couple in white. I bought mine new and after 9 years of trouble free miles I'm sitting at just over 250K...miles not KM. It is still my favorite car to drive and I have multiple (53 y/o). Wishing you lots of trouble free miles. ☺
Looks great, I have a similar setup! Congrats! I know you said your rims are 17 by 9 but if there anyway you can ask your buddy the offest that would be amazing. I have +22s on my rims and they poke out too much and even with some camber they seem to rub.
I had a 2020 Si Coupe for about 2 and a half years. I loved the car but unfortunately, the rev hang in the car ruined the experience for me. I could not stand how it drove with the rev hang. I drove my stepsister's cousin's 2015 Si Coupe on New Year's this year and I much preferred her car over my old one. From what she told me, her car isn't tuned either so her car came with a better stock tune than my old one did (hers has no rev hang that I could tell). Loved mine but hated the stock tune on it. The rev hang is half of the reason I traded mine in. Minus the rev hang, this is an amazing car. Congrats on your car. Enjoy it and drive safe. Maybe I'll see if my stepsister's cousin will let me drive hers again if I let her drive my new car. Lol.
@fright747 I did. It didn't get rid of all of it. Car did drive better with it disabled but rpm's still dropped slow as heck. A tuner doesn't get rid of all of it. Clutch was slipping as well and I didn't wanna spend the money on a new clutch. And while people can tune it out, they shouldn't have to spend the money on a tuner to disable it when it shouldn't be there in the first place. If Subaru can fix it in their WRX's, Honda can fix it in their Si's. The rev hang wears out the clutch faster.
@@riley1733 true, I'm guessing the reasoning for the rev hang was to help beginner manual drivers but they should've made it an option to disable it without a tune or just taking out the part all together. Looking at a 9th gen si right now but I also heard they have a slight Rev hang too. Hopefully it's not as noticeable as the 10th gen seems to be.
Have a coupe going on 4 years now, everything I don’t like about it can be fixed with mods but I just wish it came from the factory without those flaws
@@Deebo_K24rev hang, stock ride height, v-tec on one side only, not having 8k redline, also don’t like how aftermarket support is very limited compared to other generations
Between my 8th gen si sedan and my gf white 9th gen si sedan I prefer the looks of my 8th gen and the k20 high reving sound, I understand the 9th gen is quicker stock for stock but i feel like the 9th gen is too round and to many lines going on if that makes sense but to each their own 🤷♂️
Not real VTEC like the 2006-2011 8th gen fa5/fg2. Those were the last of the true VTEC. 9th gen are VTEC on intake valves only, not exhaust. 9th gen have a downpipe, not a true header like the 8th gen Si. K20Z3 revs to 8000. Less torque but way more fun once bolt-ons installed and dyno tuned with Hondata Flashpro by a reputable tuner.
@@liiteog7112 j just means the width of the rim, when looking up rim sizes itd basically say for example 17x9j which is the most common for 9th gen wheels

Lol you went to Petro Canada from another station because they didn't have 94? If you're in the game you should know Petro Canada is the only gas station to offer 94. 😂 Then again you don't even know what/tune or who/tuned your car lol😅
It was a Petro that didnt have 94 lol, drove to the one next to it that had 94. Ofc when the previous owners of the car before me modded it, its hard to say what mods or tune I have when I haven't lifted it yet. Which is something I still need to do, its also a locked ECU cuz one of the owners lost the Hondata pro lmao kinda stupid...

I think the 8th gen looks too round lol but it is really nice in person and high rev is a plus, why I originally wanted the rsx types
shane helped you on this purchase? have yet to see his 800hp eg in person

Nothing ricey about the Yonaka catback, it's also 3" like Full Race. They sound fairly similar
Yonaka is good, the previous owner said it was too loud and pricey, it is the more affordable option
shitttttttt fireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
appreciate you bro!
not sure if i missed it, but running on springs or coils ? also any chance you know that front lip ?
Im running K-tuned K1 coils, for the lip i believe its from a sti if I'm not mistaken
if you havent found it yet itd be the 9th gen cs style front lip
Any rubbing with those wheel and tire set up.
It use to have brembos with -3.5 camber at the front, was more lowered so it rubbed. Now it rarely rubs
