If the phone doesn't have dolby, then the phone should be thrown in the trash. Does Android 13 already have it?
I did buy Ulefone Armour 9 with FLIR and it's amazing phone, or should i say fone :D But when i saw this one on the marked i just had to buy it, waiting for the shipment...

I did the same thing, had the 9 and gave it to my son and bought the 18. he broke the screen first day😅 no big deal, ordered the new screen for $100 and I get to teach him how to fix it! I bought my mom the 13. it's her first rugged phone and she's a phone destroyer. so so glad these phones exist!
This is why i like ulefone rugged phones because they have good or great specs and most of their special phones comes with cases,. I'm watching this on my ulefone power armor 13 right now.... 3:28 thermal imaging camera does not have 5 MPix, that is the resolution of its companion optical camera. The FLIR itself has resolution of 160 x 120 (Lepton 3.5) 9:20 The endoscope gives a pretty blurred image. Anyway, thank you for a useful review. I have used about a week. On my phone thermal camera sometimes no working just if restarted the phone. At 20% battery no restarting, just if put on a charging. When charging the phone heating up. So poor quality for this price tomorrow will be returned.

Because Ulefone decided to use FLIR Lepton 3.5 sensor (160 x 120). AGM takes thermal cameras from Infiray (256 x 192, AGM G1S). But why... Well, at least the FLIR technology utilizes an optical camera to incorporate contours of objects into the thermal image which is pretty useful. The Infiray cameras don't do it.
@@angelisone Reason they have low resolution is because the larger more high end units actually require cooling. Which in a mobile device is hard to achieve.
I have a armor 9t. It's generally a good phone but needs significantly better attention to detail. The issues I state here may apply to other ulephones: 1- side finger print sensor is easily accidentally enabled and gets in the way of some car phone holders 2- the buttons feel cheap and loose, they need to tighten up the tolerance and include a better internal button. They are also easy to accidentally activate due to low tier buttons used. 3- the belt clip is too small and cheap. It swivels way to easily 4- my waterproof endoscope broke in 2 weeks after using it in water.i took it apart and found it to be cheaply made. Wires are very very thin. Soldering was done by hand. 5- No updates for the phone after 1 year 6-microphone issues when used in slightly windy areas 7- software design issues, difficult to change brightness due to touch area. 8-thermal camera low resolution, makes it useless for detailed applications. 9- compass sucks very inaccurate Even after calibration 10- when used in water, the speaker grill gets soaked and sounds become muffled until it dries. 11- plastic rim around screen used in ulephone easily shows dents when dropped. 12-use CPU z app to verify the components are actually what they claim is in the phone. 13- phone is not 6000 mah, it's actually around 5800. 14- their advertisement shows it next to a car tire like it was crushed but in fact it wasn't. The drilling of the ulephone screen was BS since they didn't use any pressure. 15- better attention to manufacturing detail, my phone came with a dummy camera, but advertisement states it as real. 16- vibration motor is way underpowered. You can barely feel the vibration. Taking apart the phone reveals a undersized vibrating unit. 17-display to skinny, not good for viewing PDF text files. 18- if u accidentally deleted flir app u r screwed and will have to completely reset the phone with files from ulephone- this itself is a complicated process. You can not redownload flir app from play store. Very Horrible mistake. Hopefully the 18t fixes many of these issues... But we shall see
@@dmandman9 the only one with optical stabilization that I know of is the Zeeker, but it's not recent as a smartphone.... but then they raised the prices of Rugged phones too much, a year ago they cost much less than now, it was worth getting one ... but not now with these prices, also because if they don't improve the camera sector and the processor ... for this ulefone I wouldn't give more than 450€, it's not worth more... on AliExpress it's around 750€ at that price you're quick to get a top of the range with better performance twice as much, the only thing is that I'm not shockproof...

dude it takes less than 10 minutes for it to charge 30% I literally forget to charge it. I never charge it at night anymore, just plug it in for a good 45 minutes every other day
As Diddley boy said, this is a thermal camera which is a different beast, but yes you can do temperature readings with it up to 80C in fine mode, or 400C in coarse mode.

Does this phone have duel speakers like the latest Oukitel wp21? The Oukitel wp21 has a 1 speaker on the top & bottom. I'm trying to make up my mind which one I may buy 👍. I'm leaning more towards the Oukitel because of it's nv camera. Ulefone should've done a nv camera instead of the thermal. Average don't have a use for a thermal camera....just an extra gimmick.

I don’t think so. I don’t know of any rugged phone that has optical stabilization. That would be a very useful feature though.

Did you check out Ulefone 17 Pro? It's the cheaper alternative with night vision instead of the thermal camera.
