    Thanks for the good knowledge. But how can I safely remove the hybrid battery to do this cleaning? It will help a lot if you can make a video about how to safely remove the hybrid battery from the vezel. 👍

    Well, I think common sense tells us that if the fan become very dirty, the air flow will be impaired. Even the house fan that we use to blow ourselves for cooling has to be cleaned regularly or there is no wind at all.
    The frequency of servicing is very much depending on the usage and the environment of the cabin and how heavy the usage of the car.. I agree that 1 to 2 years could be good recommendation. Alternatively, I suggest cleaning the system every 100,000km, similar time as you service your car's air conditioner.

    Thanks for sharing Bro, Great work👍
    Any tech who's advising their customers not to service hybrid components will obviously cost them a fortune once the vehicle breakdowns😉
    Stay Safe👍

    How often do you clean or service the battery area? and also how often do you clean the fan?

    Did I miss something, I'm not seeing that there is an air filter for the air intake to the battery cooling fan? I would think that filtering that air to keep the fan & battery as clean as possible would be critical. I do believe that Toyota hybrids have air filters for their battery cooling and require them to be checked and replaced when needed...

    • @hybridsolutiondiagnostics

      And that is the reason why these systems should be serviced often... no air filtering at all...

      @@hybridsolutiondiagnostics Yep, makes perfect sense. However, I would think that it would be smart for Honda to simply equip with a filter...

      @@robertdunn9785 " it would be smart for Honda to simply equip with a filter..." or you can just clean it once a year, you may not have to do a through cleaning like the vid if you do it once a year making sure the duct is free of dust and debris! less parts for you to change, just need to clean it manually

    Over twelve years of my Jazz Hybrid and nothing in the service manual about cleaning fan or fuel pump filter. I think I'll just have to trade it in when I get that system message indicator. It gatta be over six hours of labour to clean the dust of a battery pack.

    Thanks for sharing its very helpful for all hybrid owners. May i have a question, i have 2015 honda fit hybrid the problem is while driving the rear passengers complaining the feeling of hot air from near to the rear seats belt tensioners, what do thing from where this hot air is leaking & flowing…from the batteries compartment or from somewhere else ?

    • @hybridsolutiondiagnostics
      @hybridsolutiondiagnostics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is interesting... battery should suck air from the compartment to the outside...

      @Brawlstarstrolleditz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hybridsolutiondiagnostics Thanks for your swift response…you are right but if batteries blower suck air from the car compartment from the window near to the passenger door then where is exactly the outlet of the blower going once it throws to the batteries i mean there should be the way to exhaust the used air thrown by blower
