Yes, so you can check for voltage at the phase connections to the battery as shown with all the appropriate safety equipment, and if there's nothing there it's in the transmission. So this was a second hand transmission including the clutch assembly. Just the calibration was the real hassle on this one.
Gosh! Who would have thought that with all this advanced tech there are still problems? And boy, are those problems ever so mysterious - needing a computer to tell you what is working or not - and even then it's not necessarily what one would think but could be something completely seemingly unrelated. .
Oh yes, being a mechanic is super complicated these days. We seem to see more problems with the hybrids than the full EVs, but that's likely just because there are more of the hybrids in our market.
Thanks for sharing. Very helpful
Hello! I have the same issue as yours except it is a Honda Vezel. Just to summarise what you did is to get a second hand gearbox and a new clutch set?

@@gettingitdone1 thanks for your advice...by the way, did the specialist mention why the flywheel flex plate needed to be locked?
@@charleslee1989 just for the purpose of installation, it should release itself with centrifugal force once the engine is revved.
@@deanwilliams568 I see! Thank you for your advice!

Hi there, you will need to find a local specialist to take it to. I'm in New Zealand.
Just out of curiosity - which exact model is that?
Where are you located?
New Zealand
@@gettingitdone1 do you supply the hybrid battery?
@@Agilavlog2016 no sorry. We were dealing with Hybrid batteries NZ for that side of things. The fault with this vehicle was not the battery though.
Fuse
Definitely not a fuse. Although they were one of the first things we checked. The fault is in the generator itself, in the transmission.
