With JEE Mains just almost 2 months away I was panicking. But as I am understanding these concepts I realise the very reason I loved Physics back in class 10. The fact that learning is actually pure joy... but the current scenario that makes us only think about writing the formula and getting the marks is just crushing the curiosity
I go for school & two extra tuitions for physics but unfortunately I couldn't understand these concepts anywhere. I'm really grateful , thankful , & appreciable for your academy to help children like us for free..... I promise i'll donate my first earning to this academy volunteerly
This took me nearly 3 years to get my head around in university...and I finally understand it after watching a ten minute video. Thank you for making this so much simpler and understandable than my lecturers ever did.
i could'nt understand a single word of physics from my ncert textbooks and this subject was really becoming a bother for me. Khan Academy u explained what my teachers and textbooks couldn't make me understand. i can really for the first time relate all these concepts to real life practical situations. Thanks a million for making me learn, understand and love this subject. All the kids who don't know about khan academy are missing out on something incredible, and i hope that many more of us come here to study this subject. Hats off to you Sir!
My teacher made this topic so complicated but everyone was getting it, I thought something is wrong with me but turns out the problem is not with me as I understood this topic by watching this video!
Guys I bet uh, u won't get a better video than this in the whole of the utube!! I wasted a lot of time, searching for videos where I could understand p n junction, rectifier clearly... And then I found these videos where I understood it finally!!! Tqsm🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👌🏻🥳🥳
The funny analogy of hiring a person to control the flow of current in only one direction made me understand the role of PN junction diode in this rectifier really well! 🔥 Thank you so much for this video!
Lol. I tried to understand this chapter on the unacedemy JEE you tube channel and that shithead didn't do anything except drinking water. Thank you this was just sooooo helpful
For real I trusted that channel blindly and when I couldn't understand I thought it was just because of my dumbness. Really regret it. And the funny part is that they take 1 hour teaching a certain topic and half of the time they're bragging about how great their channel is and here in only 10 minutes the concept is clear. No hate because well they're teaching for free so ofcourse I have no right to say anything against them but still I wasted a lot of my time and not all of the teachers there are careless some teach really well.
I have my last physics revision exam tomorrow and board exam in a month but only now am I learning that alternating current actually switches its direction of flow. Way to go NCERT and the subsequent schooling system.
Where have you been all thus time? Tmrws my final exam for physics class 12 and I've just been introduced to this.... I'm gonna make sure my juniors get to know about thus channel before it's too late. Thank you for explaining this, I had a hard time understanding the topic ❤
I've understood the concept really well. Thank you so much. However, I do have a question. According to the books I'm using, the diode is connected on the other wire, ie. before the load resistance. So in that case, what I don't understand is this: when the diode is reverse biased, wouldn't current pass through the resistor first and then the diode, which will stop it's flow? Wouldn't there be discharging in the load resistance then? Isn't it the same as not using a diode at all then?
When the diode is reverse biased, the circuit is open. Regardless of where the circuit is open the current won't flow. Imagine a circular road full of cars. If one car is unable to move, none of the cars can. Regardless of where the car is. Does that make sense? Feel free to ask for more clarity
@@KhanAcademyIndiaEnglish Sir if a circuit doesn't work when a diode is reverse biased , then how did it work in bridge rectifier ? In bridge rectifier circuit , two diodes are reverse biased , so how did the cars move in that circuit then ? Hope you would reply soon

I relate to this on a whole diff lvl!
Man you brought a tear to my eye
NTA is all about marks and crushing the curiosity. No aspirants just calculators.
@@beryllium42 bro waited 2 months to comment this. lol
Wow! Best efforts given. Explains what none of the books can.

Truly! indeed they do it as non profit. And for that reason we are always blessed. Good motive.
Literally physics was full of vitality and life in this video !!
That's how physics should be , majestic , yet understandable !!
i love the way khan academy explains stuff with a pinch of humour🤣

Fully satisfied.....
Even after spending lack of money in coachings we can't get the concept.....
Its worth it to watch10 min of video....
Finally a channel that explains in english, and that too with such simplicity and great demonstration. Thank you so much sir😁
omg...how can someone explain in such a way 5 yrs before ....hats off to u sir ...helped a lot..have my boards tmmrw
My teacher made this topic so complicated but everyone was getting it, I thought something is wrong with me but turns out the problem is not with me as I understood this topic by watching this video!
Same bro
Really an under-rated organization. Whatever our NCERT books failed to teach us, Khan Academy taught us the same thing in some videos!
real

100true i miss gd teaching only blind memory my book
Then on the last day the teacher will say OK CHAPTER 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 read by you self 😁😁
I opened my charger to see the whole system right after this video. This is called quality education, learn practically. Take love ❤️.
I already knew this topic, but your explanation is so beautiful that I kept on watching as if I am watching my favorite movie again.

How can you teach so efficiently?
I got the whole topic stuck in my mind in just 10 minutes. You are simply amazing!! Hats off!!
Why did it take me so long to find this channel 😭
But glad I found it 💟 thank you so much 😭 I really appreciate it
THIS is the best video I’ve seen on PN junction diode working as a rectifier. Thanks a lot sir for clearing our concepts!!
Khan Academy is now in India thanks guys
I'm so glad I found this channel 🔥
oh didnt expecte such an immense explanation from indians

👏👏Understood. No book can explain like this.
I can't thank you enough for all the effort you put into this.this is just amazing
