    The solidur climb pants are my second favorite and if you have hurt back are first choice tad warm in summer but other wise on sale i got 2 pair for 400.00..there 300 normally..they have little blue on thigh but customers have liked them..they are green /yellow/,green and little blue thats only downfall..they have removable gators..nice stretch..ive tryed everything besides breathfkex pros but the shop here has them there like winter only ..these solidur climbers are 3cseason for sure ..not tryed the other actual designated.climb pants because most are not protective so its pointless to spend morr then regular pant price

    I've got several breatheflex pros and the arborflex skins. Still want arbortec to offer a more summer friendly pant tho

      We love the Breatheflex Pros, but I would be willing to bet that Arbortec launches some summer pants very soon!

    Hey all, thanks for the video. I am not a professional by any means but own property in southern Missouri. I am 100% cutting from the ground, removing Cedar trees and cutting oak and Hickory for firewood. i mostly do my work in the winter months to avoid that lovely midwest humidity, 99% of the time i am working alone and after 6 years of owning the place i think i need to upgrade my protection game a bit. Im 6 foot and 210. so not a big guy but not little. can you recommend a pant which you feel would work for me? price is no object comfort and safety are my biggest priorities.
    Thank you

    Bought the defender pros after watching this second day walked through tall grass with some little thorns pulled numerous threads out 😩

      @RootedArborists  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That totally sucks! Unfortunately most pants get abused in the thorny hedges. Pfanner Gladiators and the new Arbortech Deep Forest pants are about the only pants tough enough for thorny work.

    Thanks guys, you helped me figure out that I want Arbortec Breatheflex pro's.
    my question is, what's the difference between the UL and the non UL tagged pants? Do the UL pants have more safety features. I notice they are all the same price on the Arbortec website, and the info is the same. I see no difference besides the big UL tag on the hip

    • @RootedArborists

      That’s awesome! UL rating is the certification that we abide by in the States. EN is the European equivalent. PM us and we can send you a 10% code!

      I ended up getting the freestyles, class C 1. found them for 400 including shipping from Gustharts. I'm a skinny guy and always cold, so I went with class c cause they don't have vents. Plus i like the 360 leg protection. Almost every chaps and chainsaw pants cut test I saw on TH-cam had the same result, they twisted up on the leg leaving too big of a chance to expose the leg to injury. I have a few years of professional climber/bucket truck operator under my belt to have seen this scenario happen to a few guys. the peace of mind is worth the extra heat for me. It's always chilly and wet in Oregon. so I'll be cozy and warm.
      Again, thanks guys. I spent about a week trying to decide what brand/style was going to meet my needs. then i saw this video. the pros and cons of all the brands was the info I needed.
