The most long lasting fragrance I've experienced is still Baccarat Rouge. I'd LOVE to know exactly what it is about that ethyl maltol-oakmoss accord that involves such heavy molecular compounds complimenting each other in such a way that you can still smell in on the skin days later and on clothing, oh wow, it's an almost permanent olfactory stain. I could smell it on my husband's forehead one evening and I asked him how that was possible as he didn't own a bottle. With a bit of detective work we figured out that it had migrated there from the cuff of his sweatshirt as he lay on the couch with his arm up near his temple. The cuff in question had been sprayed in Selfridges a full week earlier. Unreal. I've never tried Sauvage Elixir but the anise note will either be a make or break. I quite like Insulo by Jeroboam and that has a strong caramel-chocolate-liquorice profile so I will check out this version of Sauvage on your recommendation. Thanks Zoopy for another fun, characterful and informative video.
Hi Gigany! Wow, what an amazing comment 😀 More of a conversation than a comment really. I have STILL never tried any of the Baccarat Rouges. I must get around to it as it sounds incredible and also Francis Kurkdjian is pretty much my favourite perfumer. The note in Sauvage Elixir is definitely more liquorice than anise. Extremely good and surprisingly versatile. Thank you very much for your lovely words! Take care and all the best x
Hi Izedu. It is MONSTER mode for me. I will do a minimum of six sprays mind you. Also, remember that I bought mine, sprayed it a couple of times then put it away for about six months or so. It may have macerated.
Good point karolis. I have added that information into the video description. Here it is for you: Batch Code - 1M03A1 Production date - December 2021 Thanks for your idea!

Have you tried the new Le Male Elixir? will you be reviewing it?
I have not tried yet but I will do soon.
I love the original Le Male and Fleur du Male!
Thanks for watching ❤
@@FragFreak It's so good, I think you will like it
Got mine for £170 at Boots. It isn't as beastmode as people have mentioned. Maybe I've got a new batch etc.

Hi maybe you can write your elixir batch code? Some are saying that new batches are weaker than before. Thanks in advance
