Corporal! This is perfect timing on the release of this video since I’m going to be teaching fellow campers in a couple of weeks how to make and use fall traps. Thank you for the easy to follow instructions!
Corp, you've been in every corner of my feed the last few weeks. I truly hope its the same for everyone else. For reference, I watch religious, nothing changed on my part, just the algorithm perhaps. Appreciate you. Thank you.
Outstanding Information and Tips and Tricks, I Greatly Appreciate You Sharing Your Time and Knowledge and Wisdom and Experience and Passing on the Craft. Also Thank You for Time In Service and keeping Us Safe.
I like that when you say something is simple, it really is. I watched another video on building a scissor trap that the guy said was "simple". I have put together IKEA furniture that was easier.
This is an area I need to work on. These mid-week videos are like getting personal one on one training. This information is gold and worth way more than free videos. Thank you for providing this information to the masses. 🤘👍
The more people are self sufficient the more people with power hait it. Being dependent gives them more power over you. Stay strong CC the knowledge you give us only makes us better.
The gift of knowledge is appreciated corporal. Outstanding AF. I'll thank you now in advance for when this provides me a meal in the coming apocalypse. I'm still buying Kona bear traps and snare wire, as well as live traps for back up. in case all else fails I can always make one with sticks and cordage now. You da man
Dude, You have arrived! Your instruction content shows how much more confident you've become these last few months. There's a new flame lit under you that is reminiscent of the early Corporals Corner. Mid-week videos have been a stumbling block for so many tubers. Though they're not your favorite task, your current approach and enthusiasm is blowing the rest away! Great job 0311!
Thank you so much!! I have watched several videos on these traps but never quite got it. This was so plain and simple, I think I could now do it. Great job!!
Thanks Corp Kelly! You did a good job of demonstrating these three trap options. I can remember using these traps in Boy Scouts and in my Basic Training as part of my Army Basic.
Outstanding! I’m 1 for 2, batting .500, which is enough to get me into Cooperstown. One chipmunk and my black lab. The lab was miffed, so I let her carry the munk around for a bit while cleaning up my mess. Keep up the great work!!!!
Good reboot from my Boy Scout Tenderfoot days. I was telling Andrew (RS&FC) I was in Scouts when Moses came down from the mountain. So, it is really great for me that y'all are re-visiting these great skills. Getting straight wood out here. Major challenge. That's a long shot at only an E2. Radio operators, ya gotta love us! Carry on.
I always dig these as a backup and have practiced a couple of these a few times. I should probably practice them more often, to be honest. I'm lazy, so I like to keep 2-3 normal rat traps in my bag, with a small hole drilled through them, a few 16p nails, and packs of single serve peanut butter. Tack rat trap 5-6ft up a tree with a nail, smear on peanut butter, set trap, walk away, and wait. I've eaten a whole lot of squirrel this way over the past 30 years... But, you're stuck with only eating squirrel. These traps widen your menu selection a little more.
Great video. Was out camping with family when it dropped. Played with some of the stuff I’ve learned from your videos. Had a blast trying things I’ve never done before.
Simplest deadfall trigger to make. no need for a figure 4. For smallest game (mice, chipmunks, ground squirrels) I really like using Mojave scissors traps. I find I have a better catch % using them, but they do take more time to set up. Love the videos and keep em coming!

Corporal breakaway traps for the win!
Cool tutorial! Thank you.
Thanks again corporal for bringing us great skill video.
Excellent video.
Absolutely great video! Short and sweet, or down and dirty or whatever you want to call it! Much appreciated!
Remember that the death fall trap must weight more than the animals that you are setting the dead fall for
More great stuff!
Great video. I'd much rather use that method. Quick and easy.

Thanks Corp Kelly! You did a good job of demonstrating these three trap options. I can remember using these traps in Boy Scouts and in my Basic Training as part of my Army Basic.
A very good midweek vid. Snares and traps are something not a lot of folks are doing much with. Could be the difference between eating and NOT!
Good information for beginners or those still learning new skills or to have in emergencies, Thank you for sharing
