Haven’t been excited about many 65s for a while and I love collecting 65s. First Matrix that I was genuinely excited for. Unfortunately I dislike them locking out their unique colors to only pvd weight combos so ig the decision between black and silver will be a bit easier
Man - that's my problem with it too. I'm not trying to get PVD, but I like the Mangosteen. I can only hope that Matrix is doing a phenomenal job on the PVD coating to where it won't chip or scratch easily.
it's an upcoming group buy here is their website: www.matrixlab.store/ there should be a discord link if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the homepage on the left you should find updates regularly there
Hey Jake, it’ll definitely change the feel, as for sound, it depends on the springs you got. No matter what though - they’ll still sound like roses for the most part. So as long as you picked springs that you like, you’ll be very happy with them!
Nice video again! Unfortunately, regardless of where one looks it is almost impossible to ge the parts for must keyboard builds apart from switches. Any advice?
@@hungerxhunger Yes! The anodized colours look beautiful, I also really like the off white shade of the "Milky" but not really sure how i feel about the sparkle in the non-ano cases.
I'm not sure I'm on the OLED train. It's neat, but I think it's pretty worthless as far as really having a use case. I guess if you want to make your board unique to you, it's a way of doing that, but I'm happy with making my board unique through switch and cap combinations. I'd rather have a knob, though I'm pretty happy with my Everglide SK68 that is knobless.
I feel like the knob used to be an indication of a high end unique board, but ever since all these budget companies have been putting a knob on every board, it is a feature of a low end board now IMO. Everytime I see a knob on a board the build quality of the board is not very good. I think OLED rn is in the same boat, it is a unique and eye catching feature that anybody not in the keyboard hobby can say WOW thats amazing! even if they dont know how expensive your caps or switches are, they can appreciate a screen on a freaking keyboard xD
Well, to be fair. OLED is more on aesthetic side rather than in the use case side of things. And this board is not for everyone, it's for enthusiast that support matrix lab and prefer a board that looks good aesthetically. After all, this hobby is about preference.
The shoobs impression was so spot on omfg
I love the mounting system, design and colour ways, definitely getting on this group buy!

Alex, I have bought some Roses, and have you changed the spring of it? If yes, will it improve the sound and feel?
