Totally agree about the Burle Marx. I have a regular one, and all the leaves died within the first 6 months I had it, to the point where I thought that I would certainly lose it. And then, it started giving a new leaf about every 6 weeks. It's now a very happy plant. Thanks for the info.
My Burle Marx variegated has leaves the size of my little finger nail. I look forward to the day that it needs a janky support stick! The esmeraldense is stunning.
Oh no, just give it time, it will need Janky support sticks very soon, they just take a minute to get going. dont give up hope. Thanks 😁 my pride and joy for sure
This was very great information! Thanks💚 I have had great luck with philodendrons exept my moonlight philodendron that I've had for about 6 months. Got it as a baby and it's still tiny, just found a death plug on it about 2 weeks ago! Hopefully it will take off when spring comes💚
took me a moment to realise what you meant by death plug, but i got there! yeah those things are so so bad. Definitely when spring comes it should start flourishing.
I got a (what I thought was a) fairly large Queen Anthurium in September ‘21. It had three leaves and the largest was just shy of 30 cm. In November the newest leaf grew to just over 50 cm and right now it’s hardening off the leaf and it’s at 72 cm. I was not ready for a big Queen like that. 🤣 But other than that, I can confirm that the creepers size up nicely. Just my Verrucosum… she’s forever slow for me. Thanks for the insights!
I need to put my BM Variagated on a pole or something. It's starting to droop wayyyy over the side of my shelf. 😁Your Esmeraldense is amaaaazing. I just got a baby. Need to add a pole. Gosh I have so many poles to make!!
I have a baby, I mean a baby three leaf esmeraldense. It's happy in its little seedling pot it came in, and a new little leaf pops out every 5 weeks...not sure when to repot. Any guidance would be great. Your information is all I can find on these beauties. Great video, thanks for providing.
Hi, I have a question for ya. Do you grow plants out an pot up or do you start them in big pot? I keep wondering about this an no one talks about it. Thank you 💚💚

Recently got a philodendron Micans and couldn't be more excited.
That is awesome, i am sure it will grow huge for you soon
Wow! That’s my experience with all of these that I have. My green goddess went nuts.

That was ambiguous. It grew a new leaf in November and another now.
That sounds absolutely Amazing, that Queen must be huge!!!
