    I enjoyed the video. Very helpful. Where do I find the squeegees and glove to wrap the edges?

      Do NOT use anything from Home Depot for your install. Use the item that came with your PPF kit.

    Great video. What ratio do you mix the soap (j&j) and water?

      This has been discussed many times on this channel.

    Could you please measure "two pumps" of J&J for us. Your slip works really well for how you use it. I want IN because what I've used has still been pretty tacky. ...and if you are going to give us an actual measurement, has there been any refinements on this older video?

    • @DriveProtected
      @DriveProtected  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Going into exact measurements has not been productive I've found. A simple rule of thumb would be, if the slip is feeling tacky, add more soap until it stops being tacky. If the slip has way too much slip feel to it, just dial back the amount of soap you're using. 2 pumps is a general rule of thumb and works very good for us in our cold Canadian climate. However, if you live in a hot and humid climate, 2 pumps more than likely won't be enough soap. Hope this helps and clears stuff up.

      @@DriveProtected Understood. Since I'm doing this on my own vehicles, I only bought myself an itty-bitty travel bottle. No pumps :(

      Id recommend just playing around with it to find the perfect balance.

    hello friend))) what can be used instead of Johnson baby, we don’t have it in Russia now (((what other formulations are suitable? what kind of baby shampoo is possible? and why only Johnson baby is used?

    • @DriveProtected

      I would see if you can find dawn dish detergent. It works, just not as good as baby shampoo.

      Попробуй Amwey, с белой крышкой, там почитай по щелочи, что бы минимум был) 1.5 инсулинового шприца на 1.5 л балона за глаза будет, а там как по кайфу)

    Hi. really helpful video for me to diy. Thank you.
    Just have one question. Is it okay to use car shampoo for slip solution? Which one do you recommend between car shampoo and J&J baby shampoo?

    • @DriveProtected
      @DriveProtected  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Baby shampoo for slip solution. Do not use regular car shampoo.

    Hi, what do you think about foam.
    I did my first hood and roof with foam
    and it turned out in a disaster. Water pockets and the edges are not tacking.
    Greetings from Germany
