Mystrohan You can get quite a few of the Royal Arms before this scene takes place so even having just 6 or 7 of the arms makes Noctis' challenge here look more legit. It's kinda cool that how much you've decided to do on the side up until this point reflects on this scene to a certain degree at least when it comes to the Royal Tomb sidequests. Noctis can look as powerful or outclassed as you want him to here depending on how much you build up his arsenal. I'd say mine looked like an even match for Ravus since I had 5 of the Royal Arms by the time I reached this portion.
@@ozairchishti1264 Oh, yeah. Still, this video is way better than my first runthrough, which I did blind. I had only 3 of the royal arms at that point, and the instant Noctis snapped, even I spontaneously laughed at how pitiful it looked.
I feel like they could've made this a boss fight with a small update. Just make it a small scuffle, the boss would involve moves from episode Ignis just remove the lightning attacks to make the fight in Episode Ignis a bit more intense seeing how much more power he really had, play Invidia as the boss theme, and make the fight unwinnable (so the Ignis Boss is the true fight) and by this I mean either Noctis gets to danger mode, or you deal enough damage to him (Not his entire HP) and the fight abruptly ends with Ardyn intruding.

Noctis' challenge to Ravus looks much more impressive once you've got all 13 royal arms to back it up.

Omg, I never noticed before that Iggy moves in front of Prompto, the least experienced of the group, when Ravus rocks on up to them.

I love Ravus as a character. The first time I saw him I didn't like him very much but now he is my favorite character from FFXV universe.
Doesn't look bad, but Noctis drawing himself up to his full height looks way more impressive when all the Royal Arms are obtained.
This is impressive considering noct and gladi blocked a punch from the titan. Even more when noct can knock down a magitek armor with one hit
Too bad it actually wasn't Noctis killing Ravus later in the game...
