I would've reused the factory spring loaded bolts where the header bolts to the cat/resonator because the engine does move somewhat under load. Otherwise it might break the welds on the header. Unless you have replaced the engine mounts with harder durometer bushings to help limit engine movement. Of course the trade off is more vibration throughout the chassis then with harder durometer bushings, but most are willing to deal with that instead breaking welds on there headers. The stress point usually being where the main runners on the header come off the head flange. That's why you see some high end headers have gussets welded in to those spots on the top side of the main runners where they meet the head flange.

So I have same car .....and I got a dna header with down pipe and test pipe 3 piece combo....will I need a special set up to finish my exhaust or can I just bolt on one of the other dna bits n keep going ?

The question is, I have to legally run a cat, which I ordered an High Flow one, I just don't know if I should run the O2 senor after the cat, or before the cat since your headers have a spot for the O2 before the cat on the downpipe. I know I have to use the one for upstream, which wont be a problem, just curious if I run the downstream before the cat if I will get a CEL. Anyone know? Thanks
If you only run one o2 sensor then you will throw a code cuz 96-98 civic are obd2a and 99-00 are obd2b and the ecu look for 2 o2 sensors the upstream and downstream. And thats why a lot of ppl especially ppl that are bhilding their cars will buy ecu jumper harnesses to convert their car from obd2a or obd2b over to obd1 and use a obd1 ecu. Obd1 only looks for one o2 sensor and thats the primary or upstream one and thats it so they only have to run one and wont throw a code for it. Plus theres other sensors and things that obd1 doesnt look for that obd2a and b do look for so obd1 just gets rid of all the unnecessary and restricting sensors you really just dont need and therefor makes obd1 ecu a hell of a lot easier to be able to tune. And tbh even if you're not building your car to be fast or whatever it's still a good idea to convert to obd1 anyways. All you need is a obd1 ecu for your motor whether it's vtec or non vtec and then a jumper harness which you can get for like 15 to 20 bucks on ebay and its literally just plug and play and that's it. And usually the downstream o2 sensors should come after the cat not before

Got black header for ebay $90 dollars know got the Downpipe ebay for $35 dollar take out catalict convetor put it you thing can do any damage to my motor know tell me the Downpipe only for car racing my got original motor i know you know b Honda civic can see how you got you car nice let me know please you thing can life it any take out the car it no racing thank you

Changing out the muffler would make it louder still.
